"mom! I am getting late"

"eat fast kid!" my dad said giving me a boiled egg.

I ate fast and sat on my cycle my mother gave me my lunch bag and I started cycling with full speed.

'at this rate nobody can catch up to me'

'hold on, why are people started running to the opposite direction? Is everyone getting late for their work today?'

"hey what's up?" I asked to a kid who was seeing in every direction to hide.

"there is a gate! Run!" The kid said just like a person who is in trouble or anxious.

I stood, held my cycle and started running for my life. By mistake the cycle fell and i started running with only my school bag. I held the kid in my arms so nothing bad will happend to this little kid.

'wow he is light as feather'

*grrr*

'feels like a hungry dog is behind me!'

'no, it's a cat!"

[red alert]

[something has a murderous intend]

"this damn sys-" wait this kid may listen

The system blocked my view and I am just running straight. What if I get reincarnated as a dungeon monster and fail to protect the dungeon and die?

'naa, no overthinking allowed'

Dungeon and gates- they are some kind of a portal which connects to another world also a deadly one.

Dungeons and gates are two different things

Dungeon - when we go inside it does feel like a really big dungeon. It also may define as a whole maze because to hide the dungeon boss from us hunters who hunt them for money.

Gates - they are just like any gates as monster can come out of them. But the may not go inside as the portal is one way. The Boss is locked inside. Once hunters go inside they can't go outside until the boss is successfully defeated.

I am blinded by money, so I will not hesitate to kill a monster until it's cute.

Let's come to present

'where should I run?'

"This monster is right behind me there is no way I can hide"

"Hey, kid do you know any hide out?"

"Y-yes but you were lost in your own world, so it was skipped"

"why didn't you said me this before?!"

"I shouted but you never listened!"

*tsk*

"Sis, you look like you are tire-"

"Shut up! You damn kid!"

"Watch out!!" the kid shouted

"wha-" i fell down because of a rock.

"This monster is cute!"

'She is wierd'

why, just why is it so dark and what happened is the kid okay?
