Episode 4

The next morning, Yuuna woke up to plain darkness.

She yawned softly, rubbing her eyes. A few of her eyelashes fell off because she was rubbing her eyes too hard. She took off the jacket that was over her head, squinting her eyes from the sudden brightness. The jacket had the fragrance of cedar, the scent she smelled from Cielo last night.

She fixes her hair that was messy because of the jacket on her head, looking around for Cielo.

“Morning, sleepyhead.”

Cielo’s voice was heard from behind Yuuna, which startled her a bit. She didn’t notice him being there the whole time. Cielo was sitting on the ground behind Yuuna, supporting her body with his. He wasn’t hugging Yuuna, knowing she wouldn’t like it. He was simply leaning his back against hers, supporting her body weight.

Yuuna simply nods at his words, still not looking fully awake.

“Do you want to do anything today?” He asks while helping her fix her messy hair.

“I thought you said something about cutting vines?”

“That’s what I wanted to do. What do you want to do?”

“We can do what you want to do. I have no idea.”

“Anything you want to do, Yuuna. We have time and I’m prioritizing your wants and needs.”

“…I really have no idea though.”

“The mall?”

“Meh.”

“Eat?”

“Not hungry.”

“Library?”

“We went there yesterday.”

“Or do you just want to stay here and rest?”

“I don’t want to do anything but I feel like it’s wrong.”

That made Cielo frown slightly. He didn’t seem to understand, not like he wanted to.

“If you don’t want to do anything then don’t. What’s wrong with that?”

“It feels like I’m wasting time.”

“How is doing what you wanted to do ‘wasting time’?”

“I…”

That got Yuuna speechless, and she couldn’t come up with anything else.

“Lay down and ‘waste time’ if that’s what you want.”

“…alright.”

This episode is more of an episode for myself somehow

The academic pressure was adding on day by day and the teachers were giving homework on daily basis, expecting it to be due around the same week

There weren’t enough time, it’s been pushing so hard I feel like I can hardly breathe

Q1 report card was out, the grades weren’t so bad, I’ve improved, but seeing the GPA was very disappointing.

I used to be the type of person who can’t even focus (I dont have ADHD) and even if I did, I can’t remember or understand a thing.

I used to be a nearly failing student but now the lowest was 75 (C) so I was really disappointed when I saw the GPA

Anyways apart from those frustrating things,

I found a new way of writing

It’s about 1am here now and I stayed up until 4am last night

It was easier to do things that required focusing at nights with the lights off and a scented candle with ghibli music
