Chapter 1

"Light, how long are you going to sleep, huh? Don't forget you have classes with Mr. Hondu today." A young man with light brown eyes and hair covering his forehead , arranged in two parts, said with a sweet smile.

"Moon, five minutes, please. I've been studying all night, I'm exhausted. Please give me another five minutes, ok?" the young boy answered without opening his eyes, believing that if he did, his sleep would fly out the window.

"I'm leaving, I have to go to the bar first, I have to leave some files there and then we'll meet at school"

"Okay, baby..."

"Don't be late!"

"i won't,"

"Are you sure? should I call you again?"

"Baby, I'll be there in time, please let me sleep..." the young boy complained half-heartedly.

"Ok, ok, see you at school. I love you, " Moon said, smiling and shaking his head disapprovingly. just to hear a whispered answer.

"I love you the most !" It was barely heard, but Moon knew, if anyone loves him in this world, it is Light.

Taking his keys from the bedside table, Moon ran to the car, opened the door, and hurried to the bar. He was going to have a day full of exams and more. In the morning, he had classes, and in the afternoon, he would have a business meeting. Looking at the kids going to school, he smiled sweetly, thinking of the blond boy with his messy hair from his bed. He will most likely be late for class. He will surely be late.

"Oh, Light called me so many times..." Moon said, looking surprised at his phone. He was just about to call Light , but it seemed that he had already woken up.

"Light?..." Moon tried to make a joke but was interrupted by a loud shout from the other end of the call.

"Where are you? Why aren't you answering the phone?"

"Light, I told you I'd see you at the university. I have to stop by the bar to leave some papers and then I'll come too. About not answering, sorry, my phone was on silent, " Moon said calmly, trying to calm his dear Lover, who seemed to be very stressed at that moment.

"Moon, where are you? I'm coming to you."

"I've almost reached the bar. There's no point in coming here, I'll just leave the papers and come straight to the college."

"Okay,"

"Don't take the car, I'll bring you home after class," Moon said smiling, and Light smiled too.

"Okay ,"

Light just answered, and a loud sound was heard on the phone. For a moment, Light thought he had lost the ability to hear. A loud whistling could be heard in both ears.

"Moon ? What was that? Moon! Moon! did you hear me, Moon!"

Feeling how the ground runs away from under his feet, the young boy rushes out the door and runs to the car. Only after he got there did he realize that he didn't have the keys. A bus was heading towards the nearby station, so he ran to not miss it and hurriedly got on it. He knew that this bus would pass by his boyfriend's bar, so it was the fastest solution.

With trembling hands, he held on to the bus bar and leaned against it, tears flowing non-stop. His heart was trembling more than his hands at the thought that something terrible might've happened to his lover. In front of them was a bridge. As soon as they crossed the bridge, it should be the bar,

Hearing the news, Light pressed the stop button and prepared to leave in a hurry.

How would he know that in just a few seconds, the bus he was on would explode. A strong bang was the last thing he heard, and a painful burning sensation was the last thing he felt. Moons image appeared in his head . The memories of his loved one came in a storm, and a last tear fell from his eyes.

"Moon, I'm sorry , i promised i will always protect you . I'm sorry, Moon , I couldn't keep my promise . " Light thought before closing his eyes in disappointment. He was so disappointed in himself. He wished he could reverse the time but even he knew it was impossible so he closed his eyes expecting to die and go asking for forgiveness to his Moon but he woke up becouse of an alarm sound in his bed, like nothing was happening.

"Moon!?"
