Nicole looked pleased as she ate the ramen her boyfriend Ryan made while showering him with praises" well you know you gotta do everything possible to please Amanda " he said while looking down.

Nicole's POV

" Well you know you gotta do everything possible to please Amanda" he said while looking down, he laughed it off so easily, but it was true Ryan and I had been dating for a year, he even spent can with us, but she still wouldn't budge, and I knew he was frustrated. "To be honest, if I didn't know better I would've thought you were unrelated" he said with his usual happy expression, he was putting in so much effort and time on Amanda how would he feel if I told him that she wasn't my daughter, he'd hate her ... he'd hate me, I know I have to tell him sooner or later but not now Amanda needs to clean up first or else he won't accept her and ..." Are you ok ?" Ryan asked, and I realized I hadn't said anything for a while, I nodded as a yes response and the girls walked in almost simultaneously.

The next day

Nellison's POV

I woke up the next day and went to school as usual Ryan even made us breakfast which even Amanda couldn't deny she liked.

Time skip ....

After the first half of classes were done I went into an empty class to eat lunch, no not because I'm a loner or anything I just don't like the drama that goes on there and imagine if someone found out I was the sister to the cause of it all. "Hey" Ethan said as he walked in. I nodded as a yes gesture, and he sat next to me. " I thought you'd be sitting with Amanda" I laughed it off and told him we weren't that close. "Nonsense, I saw you two walking together yesterday, you're obviously close friends "" re more than that, but he doesn't need to know that. " I know you like Amanda, but it isn't okay for you to stalk her, she isn't even worth it" he immediately started shaking his head" No, she really isn't that bad" and how would you know that I said as I raised an eyebrow. " Well when we were in middle school we used to be great friends" e explained" then why does she chase you away" I questioned." she's just mad, you see when we were in middle school we used to be best friends, but my mom wanted me back in Canada with her and I didn't even say goodbye, so when I came back she was really mad" he looked like he felt really guilty. " If it means that much to you then, ok" he squeezed me and told me that when I was ready I could, meet his other friends, which meant he considered me a friend !! , who would've thought Amanda would be the reason I'd, make a friend. Later that day I stayed back which made Amanda more than happy, and I met his friends, Ruby and Jasmine they looked so cool and level-headed the made me a little scared, but after I got to know them it turned out they were really nice, like ruby is great at story writing and Jasmine well,kind of a whòŕè, but apart from that they're pretty cool, even if it is coming from someone who doesn't have friends.

That Night

Amanda's at mindlessly on the couch of Ryan's living room scrolling through her phone. Apparently after 3 months of dating it had become a habit of the older couple to leave the girls with Ryan at at least for a week, which we already know Amanda didn't like.

Dinner was quite and so awkward you could cut it with a knife, Ryan being the sweet guy he is obviously tried to make small talk, but Amanda was dense, so he moved to Nellison instead, obviously she went on and on about Ethan, Ruby and Jasmine and was careful not to disclose the roots behind the new friendship. "So you've gone from no friends to being friends with a whòŕè, a bookworm and a guy who can't take a hint, I'm proud of you Nelly" she said sarcastically and walked away, Ryan immediately tried to cheer up Nellison and congratulated her on the accomplishment, but what if it was only to get Amanda, Ethan didn't know anything about Nellison and probably wouldn't have if he didn't see her and Amanda together, it was only now she started worrying about Ethan's obsession and the danger she might have put Amanda in by being his friend, but Ethan wasn't like that, right?.. He wouldn't just use her like that, she started wondering if she would ask or not she decided not to, after all this was the first time someone asked to be her friend and she wasn't going to screw it up." might as well enjoy it while it lasts" she thought to herself before going to bed.

The next day

Amanda's pov

I waited at the door for my mom, even though I still had like 30 minutes it made me feel ok knowing I got to see her safe first, Ryan popped up out of nowhere and sat next to me , probably another attempt at small talk. " You waiting for your mom again" I nodded as a yes. " Look I know we don't get along but there is one thing we can both agree on " he said. " Which is? " I looked him dead in the eye. " We both want your mom to be happy, and I can make her happy, us getting along will make her happy " he said smiling. " that's what dad said but he still left her even after 7 years of being married " his smile dropped instantly " I'm not like that " he protested,before I could make a come back my mom opened the door,her and Ryan kissed and Nellison came downstairs and they dropped of at school and went on their date, man all the things I wanted to say to his face.
