Episode 4

Kael was speechless, looking at his father's eyebrows and then his son's.

"How come they don't look alike at all?" he couldn't help but smile upon noticing this remark.

His father likes his son, and that makes him happy.

In front of the railing on the second floor, Dora and Sergio are watching this scene, looking at each other with resentment and disgust in their eyes.

Dora is not happy.

"A child born out of wedlock is so loved by my husband," Dora murmurs.

"Oh! You're back? I thought you wouldn't make it." Dora came down the stairs, pretending to be friendly.

"Mrs. Dora!" Kael greeted her weakly.

Dora looked at Karl, her eyes indifferent.

"This child is charming and beautiful."

Naturally, Dora couldn't pretend to be the good wife in front of her husband. She sat down and pulled the little one closer.

Kael's heart immediately tensed up, afraid that Dora would do something to his son while they weren't looking.

Kael knew how much they hated him.

"Brother!" Sergio walked next to him with a proud smile. "Long time no see."

Kael turned around, not wanting to see him. Five years ago, the image of him naked, hugging his fiance, had stabbed him in the heart.

He and Max grew up together throughout their childhood, so they have deep feelings for each other.

He hates Max and this shameless brother; no matter how long their feelings last, they cannot compete with each other.

That year, Kael suffered two kinds of injuries: his innocence was destroyed, and his fiance had betrayed him. He realized then that there were no good Alphas in the world.

"Xiomara, go and clean the guest room for Kael to stay in."

"No, Dad, I'll take Karl to my friend's house."

"How can I bother others when you can stay at home?"

"She is like my sister."

Kael insists because he doesn't trust his son to stay with this family. Dora and Sergio are not as kind as they seem. Sergei likes Karl a lot, which means he has become a thorn in the side of this couple.

"Grandpa, we'll go to my godmother's house. I'd like to see her too," the little one speaks for his mother.

"Alright! Whatever you want!" Sergei didn't argue anymore and then got up, taking the little one with him.

"Let's go with Grandpa to the garden."

The little one immediately laughed and took his hand. Sergei's heart, though hardened, is warmed by the little one's smile.

He feels that he owes a lot to his son and grandson. After all, the child also has the Wright family blood.

Kael did not go out with them. If his father wants to have fun with his grandson, it's not good for him to go.

"Brother, why did you suddenly come back? Don't you feel comfortable abroad?" Sergio's voice is mocking.

"This is my home, why can't I come back?" Kael looks at them coldly.

Dora was surprised to see that the boy who had run away from home five years ago had changed a lot. Although his face is still beautiful enough to make her jealous, his temperament is more charming.

Looking back at her son, she doesn't see anything wrong with him, but when she compares him with Kael, it seems that he is a little different, more ordinary.
