the beginning of the end

On December 1st, 2098, weird portals of mana spread throughout the skies of every part of the world. At first, they were just spots up in the sky. No one paid much attention to them for months until the worst happened they opened up and released thousands of demons across the planet they attacked any living thing, and millions of humans died. Advanced weapons didn't harm them at all. People thought it was the end of the world until people with special powers called hunters started to appear they had the power to fight on par with demons and create a place where humans could stand ground upon those few but many there is one with a rage against all demon kind his name Ian sam he doesn't know why or how but he can take the powers of any demon or person he kills he is hiding his powers and is called weak but at night he slays demons for revenge for his parents who were brutally killed by humans who joined demons we will begin at when Ian gained his power.

                                    chapter 2

"Ian." I woke up to hear screaming rush to see what was happening. I was not ready to see the horrific sight of my parents being murdered I lost control of my body it was as if it was moving on its own, then I blacked out, and when I came to I was over top the murderers bodies I jumped back in fear I searched through my memories but couldn't remember what happened I got on the phone and called the hunters and waited for them to arrive when they did they found out that they were known criminals who had joined the demons the hunter asked what happened to them. I don't remember what happened to them. The last thing I remember is standing over them when I came too. "hunter" this sounds like an awakening, so we are going to bring you down to the Hunters Association for some test. (at the association) "hunter" now that the tests are done, it shows you awakened the power to steal the abilities of those you kill. "Ian. ok, what do I do now. "Hunter," you will join us hunters on the front lines. "Ian ," alright, I am going to get some rest first, so can I get a place to stay? i don't want to go back to my house. "Hunter, you fine staying at my place for a while until we can set you up a place on base? "Ian," yes, thank you
