9. Her Temper

Mia and Ryan left the room leaving Charles. When Ryan was leaving, Mia held his hand and stopped him which surprised Ryan. He looked at her with confusion. She came near him with a worried look and asked him, "Are you ok? "

Ryan felt warmness in his heart by seeing her worry about him. He smiled at her and replied, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."

"No, you are not fine. You are wounded and blood is coming out from it. Your face is swollen and there are cuts near your chin and lip. How can you be fine? Come with me." She said.

"To where? " He asked her. "Of course to the infirmary! Or what? Do you want to stay like this? " She replied with a narcissistic tone. No one talked to Ryan with this manner, but this girl was the only one who caught his attention.

'You are really interesting! ' he thought. He went with her to the infirmary. Everyone's eyes were on both of them. They both could hear others gossiping about them but they chose to ignore it.

Everyone was shocked about the fact that a girl was holding Ryan's hand and taking him somewhere.

When they reached the infirmary, Mia left Ryan's hand and turned behind facing him. She told the infirmary nurse to heal his wounds and give him proper medicine.

When she was about to leave, Ryan stopped her. "Aren't you also hurt? " He asked her. She said not to worry about her and left in a hurry. "Hey, wait! " He tried to stop her but she was already gone.

He was disappointed. He wasn't able to protect her well. 'Mia, did I really fall in love with you? He was thinking only about her.

Mia directly went to the washroom ignoring others gossips and glare. She knew that she scréwed up. She went inside the washroom and thankfully no one was there. She fixed her hair and washed her face with water.

She looked at the mirror and sighed. Her body was trembling.... but not with fear… with ANGER!!! She was not able to hold her temper.

'Control Mia! You can do it! You have to control. It's not the right time yet. You can't cause trouble for anyone. Cool down!! Don't lose your temper!

She was panting heavily holding her forehead. Suddenly, she heard someone's footsteps coming near her. She went to the toilet room and hid there. She saw a few girls coming inside the washroom. They were chatting and doing makeup.

Mia was waiting for them to leave because she was losing her temper. After a few minutes, the girls left. Mia felt relieved and she came out of the toilet room. She again washed her face with water till she cooled down.

After she calmed down, she came out of the washroom. Suddenly she remembered something. 'Oh shit! Where's my bag? It must have fallen on the ground when those boys were trying to kidnap me. It should still be lying near the hallway. I hope no one has touched it or else I'm done. '

She was worried about her bag. She went to the hallway and searched every single corner but nothing was there. Nervousness was eating her up. Her throat became dry and her head was spinning around.

She pulled her hair and screamed in anger. "Where the hell are you!!! " She was breathing heavily. She ran here and there to find her bag. On the way, she bumped with someone.

"I'm sorry!" When she turned around she saw two familiar faces. "Sofia, Jasmine?" She saw their pale faces and felt very sad. Jasmine showed her something which she was holding behind her back.

"That's my bag! " Mia said with a shocked face. "How did you get it? " She asked them while taking the bag from her. Sofia replied, "We saw it lying on the ground when we were walking around. I recognized it, that's why we were finding you so that we can return it back. "

"Hopefully we found you or else we were going to give it and report to the - " when Sofia was explaining, Mia suddenly hugged them.

"Thanks guys. Now it is returned to its right owner. You don't need to worry about it, ok." She gave them a comforting smile. They also smiled and hugged her back.

They both said in unison, "We're best friends right." Mia replied, "Yeah, we will always be together no matter what." Sofia said in the middle "I missed you Mia." "Me too" Mia replied and hugged them again.

'So, my decision to make you both my friends finally helped me in some way. I'm glad my hard work paid off! Sorry Jas and Sofi, but I don't have any other choice. Hope you can understand me…'
