8. Abduction

Mia was trembling and her body was shaking because of fear. She could have been dead anytime. The person came near her and removed the blindfold and cloth from her mouth. When she opened her eyes, she saw a familiar figure in front of her.

"Charles?" A word came from her mouth which echoed the whole room. It was a small store room. Except for him, there were more boys with him. There were a total of 5 of them including Charles.

They all looked like gangsters and goons but still anyone can guess that they are his men. Afterall, he is the biggest gangster in the whole country. This was already predicted by Mia.

"So, Miss Jones. We met again." He said while giving a murderous look to her. "Tch, look at you, how you are trembling with fear. That's why I told you that you should know your opponent before provoking him."

"Look what you've done now. Don't you love yourself? You could have at least thought about your family right. How sad they will be, if they hear that her loving daughter was missing and her dead body was found in the river after so many days. " He said while taking his gun out and pointing at her.

"So, you are blackmailing me? " She asked while facing him and looking into his eyes without fear. "Woah! Look at that. A moment ago, you were trembling with fear and now you are staring at me like a brave girl. "

He smirked at her and complimented her. "Well, well, you are really not a normal girl. Now I know why Ryan Williams was after you. You are really an interesting girl, huh? "

"But what a loss. You are gonna be dead by my hands!" He came near her and pointed the gun in her head and pulled the trigger. He was going to shoot her when the door opened.

"Who dared to disturb me? " He shouted at the person. When Mia turned her and saw the person, she burst out with joy. A smile came on her face. That person was none other than Ryan.

Charles saw him and smirked," Oh, so your Prince Charming is here to save you?" Ryan saw him pointing his gun towards Mia. His temper already reached its limit. He was going to burst out soon.

"Leave her!!! " He shouted with anger. His eyes looked deadly and he had a murderous look. It was the first time Charles saw him like this. He feared from inside but still he didn't move. He can tell how much Ryan cares about that girl.

"Oh, so you care so much about her? Is she really that important to you? " Charles got his weak point. He continued, "Looks like she is not a random girl for you. How about you let me play with her for a while then I will return her to you? "

Ryan wasn't able to tolerate anymore. He grabbed his hand and snatched the gun from him and threw it away. He kicked his stomach several times and pushed him into the ground. Others were shocked to see the scene as before no one dared to even touch their boss but this man was beating him to death. No one dared to come between them.

Blood was coming out from Charles' mouth and his eyes were filled with anger. He got up and wiped the blood from his face. He glared at him and pounced on him and knocked him to the ground. He sat on his chest and started to give him several punches.

Ryan dodged some of his punches but he couldn't resist him because Charles was much stronger than him. Mia had already untied all the ropes. When she saw Charles punching Ryan very badly, she tried to help him.

She took the gun which was lying on the ground and pointed at him. "Leave him! I said leave him!" She shouted at him. When Charles heard her voice, he turned his head and saw Mia pointing the gun towards him.

He took a glance at the room but there was nobody in the room except them. His mens already left him alone which irritated him. He then shifted his gaze to Mia and gave a slight smirk.

"Tch! 💢 Those idiots left me alone here instead of helping me. Why did I even let those useless people come with me? Such cowards should be waiting for their death now cause I'm not going to forgive them."

Ryan saw him distracted and took the chance. He wasted no time and punched Charles face with great force which led him to fall to the ground. He then got up and started kicking him leaving him no chance to fight back.

He then stopped after seeing Charles' condition. He sighed and then warned him not to trouble them anymore or else he will make him pay back for it.

When they were leaving the room, Charles got up and said, "Wait! It's not over yet. I'll surely make you pay for it! Don't even think that you won. It's just the beginning! I'll make your lives hell! "

Ryan turned back and said, "I'm waiting for it! Let's see, who will make whose life hell!"
