7. Never Forget

Mia listened to the gossips and rumour but she ignored them. She headed to her next class.

When she entered the class, everything was the same. She ignored everyone and chose to sit in the corner of the middle row. She chose an empty seat next to the window because she wanted some peace. She was very annoyed today and was already losing her temper.

When she was listening to the professor's lecture, a message came on her phone. She took out her phone from her pocket and opened the message.

[ Jasmine: Mia, we are sorry. Please forgive us, we are not able to help you.

Sofia : Yes Mia. We are useless as a friend. We left your side at the moment when you need us the most. Shame on us!

When Mia turned around her head, she saw Jasmine and Sofia sitting in the last row. They looked sad. Mia felt sorry for them and chose to forgive them because she knows that they are helpless now. No one can offend Charles Reed. She gave them a smile and texted back -

Mia continued her class and after finishing her class, she went to her home. She was still thinking about today's incident. After a while, she arrived home.

Mia was tired. That's why after arriving at her home, she put her bag in the table and threw herself on the couch. She was feeling low that's why she easily slept on the couch.

After a few hours, she woke up and saw that it's already 6pm. She thought, 'Oh god, how did I sleep so much today?! Agh, it was such a tiring day! Thank god, I don't have any assignments today. Mhmm, I'm hungry. Let's cook something.'

She tied her hair in a bun and went to her kitchen. She cooked fried rice with chicken. After having her food, she opened the TV and saw some news. She was bored. After a while, she took her laptop and grabbed a packet of chips and started doing her work.

After reading the news, Mia shut down her laptop and went to her bedroom. She laid down on her bed and stared at the stars through the window. She constantly gazed at the stars.

Tears started to fall from her eyes. She felt pain in her heart and her head felt like it would burst any time. She murmured, "Dad, Mama, I miss you. I miss you guys so much. Why are you not here with me? It's so hard living without you guys. I miss you! "

She wiped her tears from her hand and smiled looking at the stars. She then made herself comfortable on the bed and slept. She was still thinking about her parents.

In the morning when she woke up, she was sweating. She again had a nightmare like always. She then calmed herself and stood up from her bed.

She did her morning routine and went to the college. She wore a black jeans and white top with a black shrug. When she was walking on the road, she felt that someone was following her. When she turned around she found no one.

She thought that it must be due to stress that's why she's hallucinating. She shrugged it off and continued walking. After she arrived at college, everything was usual. Today, everyone behaved like nothing happened yesterday.

Mia was confused by seeing their behavior. But still everyone was ignoring her. There was silence everywhere. She entered the school gate and was heading towards her class.

Suddenly, everything became black. Someone covered her eyes and mouth with his hands. She tried to remove the hands and escape but she failed. He covered her eyes and mouth and took her somewhere.

She was terrified by it. Her eyes were blindfolded and her mouth was tied by cloth. She was being dragged by someone. She tried to hit and run away but someone grabbed her hair from back and throwed her.

She landed on the ground. She got hurt in her hands and shoulder but she still tried to get up. When she stood up she heard something calling her name. The voice was familiar to her.

''Mia Smith, I told you don't try to provoke me." Mia was shaking after listening to this voice. It was her first time when someone abducted her in broad daylight. She was scared and her mind went blank. She wasn't in the state to process anything...
