The true Astrae and the coming of the priestess

You know guys that Erika was shocked at what she saw, a sky as if engulfed in orange fierce flames, greens as far as the eyes can see, creatures of mystery those she has seen and those she hasn't. Erika thought to herself "dream or no dream it is things like this that truly make me happy. Erika turned around to look at Raphael with much excitement to go down and explore, just for her to see Raphael kneeling to her as a knight would to his queen, she then realizes the case at hand and asks "what are you doing?" . Raphael, "my priestess, when you arrived at the summoning all you could see was a dark and gloomy surrounding, am I right?" , Erika nods. She asks "how did it suddenly change?, what did you do?, is this a film trick?", Raphael confused, "film trick??, anyway you see that Erika was a trial", Erika, "trial??". Raphael explains" you see most from other worlds we have summoned, but non-proved to qualify for being our priestess we have been searching for, for the past century", Erika shocked and whispers "century!!?" . Raphael further says "we have waited a long time for your arrival Erika, now we have our priestess. Welcome home my priestess, the people are waiting for your rescue, the whole kingdom of Astrae needs you now the most", Erika "priestess? Home? Rescue people!? , what the heck is this crazy guy talking about? I don't understand shiii of what he just said. You know what I don't have to, I'll just look for an opportunity and make a run for it, yeah that sounds good". While Erika was thinking about all of this she forgot, she doesn't know how to go back, she doesn't know anyone here and at that point did not realize how much of a valuable figure she was, I mean you can't blame her imagine if you were in her shoes. But somebody was aware of this and that was Raphael. He smiled and said to Erika "that is a very brilliant plan you have there*whilst standing up* but you don't know this place, also right now your powers are weak, st this rate your training is going to be brutal for you that is". Erika was dumbfounded,"how did you know what I was thinki–", he replies" oh, your astras speaks volumes, it's too obvious", Erika finds herself confused once again*ever since I got into this world, I have never been so confused in my entire life*, she says to Raphael" what is this astras or whatever you call it?" , he replies"your astras is your spiritual being, your soul, your subconscious mind, it goes by many names Erika. And right now your is leaking out so is your life force, we need to start your training as soon as possible if not you might die at this rate, and we can't have that". Erika, "spiritual being??? , huuuh wait I have not been getting anything you have been saying and what is this about me dying".

Raphael shows her to a sit on the roof, at first she is reluctant to sit but is later convinced. Raphael continues" Astrae is a world of magic and possibilities, and you are it's guardian, I know you want to go back to your world, I know you want to go back to your family, butter we need your we are in serious danger and if nothing is done we will face extinction, actually more like destruction" * Raphael says this with a look beyond despair and his ears and tail shaking*. Erika didn't get what was going on, but she could tell it was awful, she asks Raphael"why me?, I'm sure there were others". He pulls himself together and says"indeed there were others but the future we saw with them was dark while the future we saw with you showed infinite possibilities, some were good, others not so good".

Erika said in a faint voice"so your just gonna trust a complete stranger with your lives all because you looked into some cube and it showed I was different. *she raises her voice* WHAT A LAUGH. ARE YOU SICK OR WHAT?" . Raphael was shocked at her sudden impulsive behavior, Erika says with rage" YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME, WHAT IF I MESS THINGS UP? HUH!! , YOU SAID THAT THERE WERE POSSIBILITIES RIGHT, SOME GOOD OTHERS NOT SO GOOD. WHAT IF YOU GUYS TRUST ME AND I END UP KILLING YOU ALL. WILL YOU STILL CALL ME YOUR PRIESTESS OR WHATEVER *PANTING*" Raphael in awe. Erika, "you guys solve your own issues to yourself am out, return me back to earth at once " she walks out, back to her to room. When Raphael had realized that she had left, he said to himself in a low voice" if you really don't care that much

What was that pained look on your face for*sighs*, again I say your astras speaks volumes". Erika bursts open the doors to see the maids ease dropping, she walks past them without a care, they immediately follow. Emma was worried because the beauty they once admired looked so hurt and pale. ON reaching her room Erika says"I want to be alone" , the maids"but my priestess", Erika turns with a displeased look on her face, "don't you ever call me your priestess again, and I believe I said... LEAVE ME BE..." . Emma pulls the young maid back and says"as you wish". After they left, Erika broke down to the ground, she says shakily in a cracking voice"I know it's not Raphael's fault he just wants to protect his home, but that look on his face reminded me of myself 11 years ago, I was desperate for help and chose the wrong person for help.*people think I was poor, but it was My wrong choice that made me lose everything, my home, my warmth, .... my parents.

let's go back a bit, to 11 years ago, Erika's house or rather mansion, she was literally a young miss, butlers and maids at her disposal and classy parents too, so I mean you would expect their child to also be classy, but .... alas Erika was different, not cute, not sociable, hated studies and gowns , here instructors went savage. After Many tries her parents finally gave up, they lived their lives in happiness but of course change is constant be it good or bad. But this time it was bad her father went out on a business trip had an accident and died soon after her mom had been diagnosed with late stage cancer. Erika went from chirpy and troublesome to quiet and pale, all the maids and butlers worried about her but they knew they could do nothing too help for she would soon be an orphan. On a rainy day she came to visit her mother for the last time to see her foaming in her mouth, Erika panicked and went to get her mom's most trusted friend which was the doctor, her uncle also came. They were the only three in the room, Erika yanked at their clothes and told them to do something, they both started to laugh maniacally. Erika got scared just to hear her uncle and her mom's friend say "finally the poison is working, maybe we should have just killed her like her husband*her mom's friend approaches her mom and spits on her* you sl*t , you deserve it. Erika still didn't get what was going on until she put all the pieces together, her until always hated her, her mom's friend was always jealous of their family and property, when she put everything together she wept with anger and charged at the two and she bit both of them so hard they bled. They slam her to the wall and she loses consciousness. When she came to she was in her room, she looked out the window and what she saw left her traumatized. Erika ran down stairs to see people gathered around her mom's corpse, she couldn't even shed a tear. She asked in a cold voice to the maids and butlers " what about uncle and mom's friend?" , the butler crounched down and whispered to her "They got into a plain crash and both died and the properties meant for her were taken away by her dad's rivals in business. She had lost everything, truly like a lone wolf who had lost it's pack and pride, alone, sad and fragile. Erika thought to herself " if I had watched closely and not have asked them for help would it have been different" . She then says" well uncle and mom's friend, I guess karma is real after all and leaves their graves, of course after wishing her parents RIP. She left alone, wounded, betrayed, and sad. She somehow got through in life and earned a living at a young age. Which brings us to where she currently is now. OK let's good back to the present.

Erika fell asleep crying, only to feel as if someone was stroking her hair, she opened her eyes to see Emma was there. She was spooked and sprung up. She says"I thought I told you to leave", Emma, "indeed you did", Erika "so what are you doing here, leave NOW". Emma stands up to says "forgive me for my current actions", Erika confused. Emma walks towards Erika and hugs her, Erika tries to push her away, but it doesn't work, Emma then says "let it all out I am here for you, I won't leave even if you torture me, trust me and set yourself free". Upon hearing Emma say this in such a gentle tone, Erika could not help but break down once again but this time it was different, she felt relief.

After all that and Erika became calm, Emma once again explained the situation of Astrae to her. Erika cups herself up"but what if I'm not good enough?" , Emma but what if you are?". Emma holds Erika's hands,"believe in yourself and I shall believe in you as well" . Erika was touched, after much convincing, Erika finally steels her resolve and approaches Raphael. She then apologizes, Raphael looked at her and said"do you think that is enough?" , Erika thought to herself"of course not I know I said a lot of mean things to him, even for me that was a little much ", she now says out loud"I still have questions and I can't guarantee I won't bail if it gets too hard, and also I don't want to die yet. *she raises an eyebrow* hey so what I'm trying to say is that I'm willing to give it a try, but there will be changes. In other words I'm ready to be your priestess ". Erika looks at Raphael, and Raphael laughs out loud, he walks up to Erika,"I knew you were different and interesting" . With a mischievous wide grin on his face he says up close to Erika's face"well let's train until even in your sleep you are alert". Erika thought to herself"I think I just made a deal with a very cunning and dangerous man", she says"uhh, you know what right now I was joking, so goodbye ". Raphael grabs her and says"there is no escape ", Erika scared"I have a right, leave me ". He opens a door with torchlights lighting up the hallway, *looks to Erika and says*don't worry the walls are soundproof, you can scream in agony all you want, they won't hear you, of course you can also scream for help but the same result".

Erika"God save meeeeeeel!!!!!!!!". oh! what tortures do Raphael have in store for her, she thinks she made the wrong choice again, she thought"I should have never listened to Emma that this old dude was nice ".
