The Test

"keylie ? Keylie Mathews ? " Mr Carson sounded surprise. Keylie looked him up and down , can't stop her fuzzy mind from doing so.he was in simple pair of jeans but he had a damn leather jacket and black ball cap.it was unfair a man could make a simple outfit look that good. She realised she was staring , quickly looked down , still panicked.

"Hi,... Mr Carson."and she realised her top was too revealing to be talking to her teacher. She quickly lifted her purse, purposefully covering her exposed skin.

"Out having fun , I see." He spoke as he placed his beers on the counter. She could feel his eyes burning into her with disapproval.

"You should be studying." He whipped out some cash to pay for his beers.

" I know and I am....I mean ....i did...I just ..." she was stammering horribly.but panicking and being a tipsy usually didn't lead to anything good.

"We wanted pizza." Becky spoke up finally , Laughing hysterically behind her , then she leaned in to whisper keylie.

" he's wearing that ball cap and jacket." Knowing very well keylie have imagine her own some fantasies about the curse cap and jacket.

"Shhhh!!".keylie quickly shushed Becky , her face turning bright red.becky broke out laughing again , holding herself up with the counter.

keylie couldn't bring herself to look him in the eyes , the embankment was too much.

"Make sure you ladies get home safely and study." He picked up his purchase and walked out , just like that.

Becky continue to giggle at the unfortunate turn of events. They paid for the pizza and hurried back to the dorm, where keylie sank into her bed and tried to sleep of the humiliation she was feeling.

As expected, keylie didn't get any sleep , after the yesterday's encounter. Waking up to a test with a headache and embarrassment is something she did not want to go through. Unfortunately, she already disappointed Mr Carson enough that there's no way she's bailing on his test.

Putting on some simple jeans , a white sweatshirt and a pair of canvas, she was ready to go. But her roommate seems to have other plans.

keylie walked up to her roommate, Amy's bed, wake her up. At first attempt she just a soft groan followed by snores.keylie tried again, and finally manage to wake her a little to talk.

"What..?" Amy doesn't sound quite happy to being waked up and was already preparing to go back to sleep. keylie grabbed her blanket , stopping amy to pull it over her face.

"I am awake , i am awake. What is it ?" Amy said getting annoyed by keylie. Sitting up and giving death stare.

" don't you have a test today, you'll be late if you don't wake up now." keylie remind her.

Amy is not in the same class as her.when keylie first came to school after moving , amy was assigned to show her around. And eventually end up being roommates when keylie learned amy was looking for a roommate.

" I don't have a test today , i texted you yesterday about it." Amy laid back again , not even asking why keylie didn't read her text.

" You could've just told me in person though,.." said keylie, moving around the dorm room to get things for test and some notes to memorize on the way.

" I thought when you will get back , I might fell asleep, so that's why I texted you." Amy grumbled , turning her back over to keylie and finally cover her face with the blanket , indicating she's done with the talk.

Keylie rolls her eyes , taking a protein bar and got out of the room.

It's a 20 minutes walk from her dorm to her class , which she made it in 10 minutes.

Thankfully they were just some students readying for the test and no Mr Carson to be seen.

Keylie quickly got to her seat , next to her Becky looked like she might throw up , she wouldn't be surprise if she already did.

" Good morning, Beck." keylie greet her by elbowing her softly.

Becky muttered back what's sounds like a morning. Not a good morning for her it seems, Keylie amused.

Just as she was about to ask becky if she studied anything after waking up , Mr Carson came in classroom with an authority like he own the class. Another reason to fail the test by getting distracted by his glorious beauty.

" Good morning class, as I already mentioned this test's grade going to be decide your assignment marks so i suggest you to write it good." He gave test papers to each section first desk student to pass it.

" You got one and half hour for this test test , and cheating will cut minus 1 marks for every wrong answer." He threatened sweetly. He got to his desk , taking a book out of his bag and started reading.

Mr Carson even manage to look intresting, while doing the most boring work. She could just look at him and spend hours doing it.

A thud sound distracted her thoughts , she turned around to see Becky just slam head on the desk. Keylie looked in her test paper to see the questions.

It's not going to go well, Keylie sighs.

Keylie felt like crying , she isn't sure about the half of questions she did. Becky looked like she gave up long ago and taking a peaceful nap she didn't manage to get last night.

After giving her test paper and waking Becky up , keylie was ready to go. She was planning to get a strong coffee and some take out breakfast.

Keylie and Becky both packed up , and turned to leave. Keylie look up at Mr Carson and wished she didn't, Mr Carson looked at them with the most disappointed stare like he could already tell they won't getting good marks.

Keylie ducked her head and almost runs out of the class.
