Morning.

My mum was still sleeping quietly when I was up looking about.

How can she sleep peacefully after everyone's disturbances last night? I can't even sleep properly.

I looked outdoors every two to three hours.

In my sleep, I become alert.

I waited for my brother patiently. Because there was no one else around. I'm too self-conscious to stroll around the block on my own. I'm looking for someone, so here's my brother.

I can at least claim that he wants to go exploring and wants me to accompany him. And as a good sister I'm doing my job. smirk

I was dismayed when I returned since there was no one there. But I'm disappointed to find he's not here.

Disappointment number one

He could have gotten off the train around midnight.

"Everyone was out at midnight when one stop approached." My brother was conversing with my mother, who had awoken. She pays close attention to him, and I'm unhappy that love at first sight never works.

Fate is always there to confront me.

Fate.

Doesn't

Always.

Have.

To.

Be.

Your.

Way.

My intuition tells me so.

Stupid.

Never mind, it occurs all the time.

It's not the first time this has happened.

Once, I had a crush on the one man on the metro ride. With his mask on, he looked stunning. I kept staring at him the entire journey. But then he gets off the train before I arrive. And thus my every love at first sight was broken.

It's all right, Lily; no one is interested in you.

Accept the truth.

Please.

I took a deep breath and reminded myself not to think about him. We're in town to see our father. So enjoy the journey and ignore him.

Finally, we arrived. We stepped off the train, and the hard rain soaked me.

As previously said, I despise rain.

I took out my umbrella and stood outside the entrance, assisting my family with the baggage.

"Look, there's your father," my mother exclaims, as soon as train halted, almost making me grimace. Okay, mum, you need to calm down. I know you haven't seen him in a year. But we're here among so many people. She ran towards him, and I noticed my father racing towards my mother, smiling joyously and carrying an umbrella.

They are madly in love with each other.

Please don't get me wrong.

They are equally opposed to loving each other.

I don't always comprehend their relationship and can't pretend to.

They are both ten years apart in age. An arranged marriage, how could their parents consent to marry someone ten years their senior? Sorry, but previous generations were grief-stricken

We enter the flat where my father was staying. So it's the flat system, then.

I'd always wanted to live in an apartment. I even requested my parents to purchase me an apartment so I could live alone. However, in Indian culture, everyone is concerned with society.

What will people think? Why is their girl living on her own? Something occurred, blah, blah, blah...

They dismissed my argument and stated they'd buy a house for my soon-to-be spouse. like who is prepared to be married? Me? a resounding NO.

I carried a handbag and one large bag up the stairs. The rain has stopped, but the chaos outside freaks me terribly.

There were four doors next to each other, with ours on the corner. Dad driven us to enter the room by unlocking the door. It was enormous. Never imagined an apartment could have that much space. I set the luggage down and go investigate the room. I am always eager to investigate the room and the house's decorum. It was basic. Not at all like our own home. However, there was just one living room, one kitchen, and one room, including the bathroom. It was a simple house with a large yard..

I slept as much as I could. Maybe I was too fatigued from the journey.

The entire day riding was a mess.

When I stepped outside the room, I noticed that objects were strewn about. Things are being unpacked.

"Lily, are you feeling better now?" My mother appeared from the kitchen, handing me a cup of chai, or tea.

Wow.

Right now.

Served with a cup of chai.

It's fantastic.

And I enjoy the rainy season for this reason. Because tea is more pleasurable than sex.

That is a fact.

Don't get me wrong.

My sexual life is monotonous.

I've never had sex in my whole life.

True.

I took a seat near the wide window. Yes, the living area includes a large window divided into three portions. I sat there with a cup in my hand, stretching my legs straight and placing them on the surface of granite attached to the window. I'm calming down myself. The rain hasn't stopped yet. My father informed us that it rains continuously. And now I'm witnessing it. The weather was brutally chilly. Thank God I remembered to bring some socks.

I glance in the mirror and realize I haven't changed my clothing. To feel refreshed, I need to take a bath.
