Chapter 4: In love?...my ass

Xandra leaves and goes toward the meeting area to see that her brother wants there yet. She asked the man standing nearby where her brother was and said in the CEO's office.

"What does that old man want now?" Xandra says and leaves heading to her father's office to see that they're on their way out already.

"Xandra, we were just talking about you." Lucas told her.

"Your brother told me you have a prisoner under your watch.." Lucas said.

"Yes, and she has nothing to do with your business." Xandra replied.

"I don't want you fvcking with her." Lucas reminded her. "And when I mean fvcking her, like literally." Lucas added and she sighed.

"Don't worry I won't, father." Xandra said then Lucas only nodded and they started walking back toward the meeting room to see all their business investors and partners are all there.

"You're late again, Mr. Valencio. You're late at your own company meeting." One of them says which only made Xandra smirk 'cause she knew what would happen.

"I'm very sorry, because my niece was caught up in an accident and I have to deal with it and the person responsible for that." Lucas said.

"I'm sure you already found the culprit, Mr. Valencio. You're always good at your job." One said, Xandra laughed knowing that they were lying.

"Hm...the car that was driving was found guilty, and I sent him to hell." Lucas replies and they all sit on their respective chairs.

"Do you know why I called you guys, here?" Lucas asked.

"Uh...

"We don't....

"None, of you knew?" Lucas asks them again.

They all shook their heads and waited for them to answer but no one did.

"Too bad....goodbye." Lucas said, and the family put on protective masks and watched as all of their business partners go get their masks except for one.

"If I ever found out that one of you did that to my niece, all of you will die a piercing death." Xandra said and took the one person that wasn't able to reach for a mask and choked him upward.

"You'll feel more than he did. Trust me. I'm not kidding." Xandra leaves and pushes a button letting a deadly smoke in the air.

"Come on, let them die there." Xandra told them and the family left going back to where Clarisse is.

Xandra was there first because Lucas and Alejandro must check if the people in the meeting room are still alive or not. If there are survivors.

Xandra sat next to Clarisse's bed as she cried a little.

"Please, stay with me." Xandra cried. "Please..." Xandra says as she let her head fall on the bed and continued crying.

Xandra suddenly feels something move, so she quickly looks up to see that Clarisse is conscious already.

"Hm?" Clarisse grunted a little as she tried to move but her legs were hurt.

"Ahh!" Clarisse cried as the pain on her feet started throbbing.

"Clarisse! Don't move too much." Xandra exclaims as she stops her from moving much more.

"Xandra? Where am I?" Clarisse asks. "Where's Denise? Did she get hurt badly?" Clarisse added and Xandra only sighed.

"No, she wasn't. She told me you got yourself a DNR, is that true?" Xandra asked after answering her first question.

"Yes I did, I don't understand why I am still alive?" Clarisse asked again.

"Do you know the consequences of your actions?" Xandra asked.

"Yes, I am fully aware." Clarisse replied.

"You could be expelled from the company!" Xandra shouted as she glared at her cousin.

"Then let them! I'm tired, Xan. I can't take this anymore! Doing things that I don't want to. Being asked to do something that hurts myself is awful!" Clarisse shouted back.

"But I'll lose you! Clarisse please, you have to understand the weight of your actions! Mom and Auntie didn't die for nothing." Xandra shouted as she cried. "Right?" Xandra asked as she looked at Clarisse.

"Don't even try using them." Clarisse replied. "Do you really want to stay here?" Clarisse asked as she looked at her in the eye.

"Do you really love hurting innocent people?"

"Do you enjoy seeing others in pain just to satisfy yours?"

"Xandra, this is you, it will never be you." Clarisse said.

"If you're really sure then I'm going with you cuz. We'll get out of here together." Xandra s, andand they were shocked to see that Alejandro was listening to them and eyes widened in shock knowing that he was betrayed by her own sister.

"Li- Don't call me that, you guys should leave. Father won't like this once he hears it." Alejandro said.

"Aren't you going to come with us?" Xandra asked.

"No, someone needs to stay...." Alejandro said and looked at his sister and forced a smile.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Alejandro assures her and leaves.
