Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Xandra is now roaming the streets as most of all of her father's enemies started crowding her.

"Tell your goddamn father that I'll get my revenge sooner or later!" One of them said.

"Will you just let me walk in peace?!" Xandra warns them as she starts walking again.

One of them started walking toward her which was a bad choice. She grabbed his arm and turned him over as she put the knife she kept in her pocket against his neck.

"Don't you ever touch me again..." Xandra said and the man nodded as he trembled.

Xandra stood up and just ran and ran hoping to lose all of them. She jumped from wall to wall so she could reach the rooftop easily. She is headed toward Alejandro's school which was just a few kilometers away.

Xandra was about to start running again when her phone rang.

"Bvllshit, father...." Xandra whispers before answering the call.

"Where the hell are you?" Lucas asks.

"Why? Do you need to punish me again?" Xandra asked.

"I will if you don't come back here!" Lucas shouted on the other line.

"you should calm down, dad. You're getting older. You don't want me inheriting the company when you di3 from a heart attack." Xandra said as she giggled in her head.

"Will you just fvcking come here?!" Lucas shouted then hung up.

"When will he realize that I'm the spy?" Xandra asks herself as a smirk starts forming in her mouth and starts going.

Denise is hanging out with her friends as Ms. Garcia called her.

"Denise, are you okay?" Ms. Garcia asks.

"For the nth time around now, yes I'm alright, Tita." Denise said.

"I'm just asking, you never know. Nandyan lang ang aksidente. (Accidents are just there)." Ms. Garcia replied.

"Ok ok ok, no need to call me 10 times per hour, diba (right?!)?!" Denise exclaims.

"Fine, alam mo Naman Yung gagawin diba? (You know what to do, right?)" Ms. Garcia asks.

"Yeah yeah, hanging up." Denise says as she hangs up.

"Si Tita na naman ne? (It's Auntie again, right?)" Clarisse tells her which she answered by nodding.

"When will she realize that there's nothing going to happen, I just don't understand it." Denise replies.

"What do you know, she's just worried." Clarisse told her which Denise only rolled eyes. .

"She's just doing her job." Denise replied and started walking but soon after she didn't realize that the red light was still lighting.

"Denise!" Clarisse shouted and ran toward her.

Denise looked back as Clarisse pushed herself toward her but tripped so they fell on the highway. A car was over speeding and they were trampled over.

Clarisse was run over and Denise successfully just got a bruise on her knees from the fall but Clarisse took all the pain.

"Clarisse!" Denise shouted as she cried.

"I'll be fine, stand u-up...." Clarisse says as she groans.

"Clarisse please....stay with me." Denise begged.

"Just next time, protect yourself....don't be r-reckless...." Clarisse said as blood started flowing in her mouth.

"The medics are on their way...please! Just hang on!" Denise begged as she cried holding Clarisse.

"You....trust....someone....let...them...go." Clarisse said as she said and closed her eyes.

Denise cried as the medics arrived but it was too late.

"What kind of medics are you?! My friend is dead! You could've saved her!" Denise shouted as the medics apologized with a straight face.

Denise only stood up but failed in the process. She fell and hit her head on the car which then, her vision blurs and the darkness engulfed her.

Xandra is walking toward the accident scene after knowing that Clarisse, which was her cousin got caught in an accident. She noticed a girl with her and assumed that it was Clarisse's friend, Denise.

"What's the update, doc?" Xandra asks the medics.

"Are you the family of Clarisse Fernandez?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, is she okay?" Xandra asked.

"I'm afraid not, she's not breathing and her pulse is very visible. The only thing that's letting her stay alive for now is our machine." The doctor explained.

Xandra's eyes widened and she took her phone to call for help from their personal doctor. But the doctor continued.

"On the other hand, her acquaintance is massively injured from her legs and needs to be treated immediately or amputation is the only solution for treatment." The doctor continued.

"Uhmmm....please do whatever it takes to save my cousin's friend. Our personal doctor will take care of my cousin. Make sure she's on all equipment." Denise replied.

"R-right." The doctor said and left as he told his people what needed to be done.

Xandra went over toward Clarisse's body as she slowly tearsup a little.

"Please don't leave me alone, don't leave me and Alejandro alone in here. We can't....I can't......take....him...." Xandra cried as she held Clarisse's cheeks caressing them.

"Don't leave us alone, in here." Xandra said as a person touched her shoulder.

"She won't....." Alejandro tells her as he just arrived at the scene.

Xandra only cried hard in her brother's arms and hugged him tightly repeating the words; "She won't leave...."
