POV: Scarlet

Miss Rose,can you please help me how to draw an apple,I hear a sweet small voice behind me .I turned around to see Lucas with pouty lips as if he's upset with himself for not able to draw a simple apple, i smile at him and took him in my lap to help him with the drawing ,after a few more round he was finally able to draw the best as he can clapping with those tiny hands probably happy with the outcome not before landing me a quick kiss on my cheeks thanking me not a minute before running to his group of friends to show his drawing. Looking at all these kids,with cute faces and bubbly personality that always seems to lighten up my mood ,I don't regret my decision of becoming a kindergarten teacher even after holding a 1st class degree in Business Studies .After completing graduation, I did apply for a job in different companies meanwhile working as a teacher for some period of time until any company confirm my selection but spending a few months with those kids I made up my mind what I actually wanted to do even after many companies called me for interview and till today i don't even regret it for a single day. Ringing of bells brings me out of my thought ,okey kids from tommoro on you all are having your summer holidays for 1 months , do enjoy but I am not asking you to skip your health and some few reading I tell them with that every body was out of the class, I will miss them i thought to myself. Packing all my belongings I was out school campus to catch a bus to go and visit my other kids and my bestie Lily when I heard someone call my name i turned my head to see none other than Emily Parker who works as a nanny for lucas since last 2 years and does all the works for lucas that only a mother can do but nonetheless she and I had become such a good friend since lucas joined kindergarten .She was a year older than me with long black hair reaching till her waist and the preeties smile I have ever seen , people could easily assume her as lucas mom if they don't know she was his nanny. Scarlet how are you?she aske me not before giving me a hug,i return her with the same love and affection she has for me .I am good as you know summer vacation is starting tommoro,i need a little time for myself after running behind those cute angles I say refering to those kids .i am sure you really needed it she looked at lucas who's busy eating ice cream thnks scarlet for looking after lucas i know he can be very hard to handle but he loves you so much ,Emily said giving that motherly smile to lucas and I realized how much she meant it..
