Operation

The man and woman were anxiously waiting outside the emergency room, they both felt like a wild worm was eating their hearts alive. Their hearts throb with fear and pain. The man was hugging the woman to calm her down. After some hours, the doctor came out of the emergency room,

"Doctor, how's she?" the man asked.

The doctor was not their usual private family doctor, so he was a little overwhelmed by their extraordinary, intimidating, and powerful aura. He knows their identity, and he also knows that these people are not someone to be trifled with, so he was nervous and scared to report the patient's condition.

The woman was waiting for the doctor to report; however, observing the doctor's expression and hesitation, she panicked and asked with a shaky voice.

" Ye...s doctor, how's she?"

With great internal mental struggle, the doctor replied.

" Mr. Knight, her condition is critical; she has both internal and external excessive bleeding; she has lost quite a lot of blood, and "he hesitates to continue.

AND WHAT? The man asked.

The doctor gathered all his mighty courage to continue the report.

." Mr. Knight she's most likely to remain unconscious for lifetime."

He cleared his throat with nervousness and continued,

" Sir\, she went to coma due to excessive bleeding and head injuries; we can't say that she'll wake u...p... _Hahk_

The man narrowed his eyes, and in a swift movement, without letting the doctor finish reporting, he pushed the doctor on the wall and choked him.

*Thud*

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

The woman panicked by looking at the situation and said,

"HONEY! STOP IT! They're doing their job; don't make the situation worse.

She went to calm him, the man calmed down as soon as he felt the touch of her hand on him, and he released the doctor.

As soon as the man released him, he ran like a scared cat. On the way to his office, hell knows how many people he bumped into and fell down. Cold sweats were rolling down his temples, and his heart was racing like a mad horse.

After reaching his office, he slammed the door out of fear, put his hand on his chest, puffed, released his breath,

* Heavily breathing* _ puff......huff......_ cough_cough_

Damn, that was close. F*cker, I don't wanna book a ticket to leave this Earth.

_Aishh_ my flight to leave this earth is his hand *dramatically crying*

On the other side outside the emergency room, the man was talking on the phone outside the ward, side hugging the woman beside him, and he had already arranged everything to shift Rose into the secured VIP wardroom. After some time, they shifted to a VIP-secured ward.

He was still on a phone call outside the ward while the woman was sitting near Rose inside the ward, she was looking at her pale, lifeless body with pain in her heart after some time. He finished his phone call and went inside the ward, where he saw her in a daze looking at Rose, who was helplessly pale and lying on the ward bed.

She felt someone entering the ward, turned her head to look at the door, and saw him standing there looking at her.

" Did you inform all of them?" the woman asked.

" Yes .... except him and the elders," the man replied.

A painful smile appeared on her face,

" Do you know what I'm getting by looking at her? "

He *nodded*

She turned her head to look at the Rose, tears flowing down her cheeks.

He felt like someone had stabbed him in the heart by looking at her tears flowing down and another, whom he takes as a close friend, lying on the bed lifeless. He felt suffocated. His blood boiled to kill the culprit; however, he can't because someone is already on his way to finish the culprit off, and he also can't leave the kids and the women alone in fear of the enemy striking on them.

He came near her, wiped her tears, and hugged her.

"Hush, don't cry; everything will be alright on time, okay?"

 "I'm staying with her, go to the base and handle this properly. " The woman said.

* He kissed her forehead *

"Take care of yourself; when I'm not around, I've already arranged everything needed here, and guards will be outside; call them whenever you need; food will be delivered here by butler; and call me if there is anything needed or anything emergency occurs." The man said.

She *nodded*

The man left. After some time, suddenly, someone burst opened the ward door.
