Whale Vilage

In the dark sky, a loud thunder echoed, couple with the raging oceon bellow, making this scene not suited for fishing.

" Tsk..this wheater...". Bryan remarked and get inside his house. Closing the wood door, he undress his leather coat. After tidying his hunting equipment and other his goods, do what to do, like cleaning his house, and other thing. He seated, watching the heavy rain outside his small window.

" One...two.." he counting every streak of lighting that come from the dark sky, and the one that he's can't see, he ignore it.

Whale Island, an island in the middle of ocean, in the middle of it, located a Whale Vilage, following its own island name. Five or six meter tall wooden gate, making a big circle protecting the vilager property and their house. On the south of the vilage, padi field with its still green leaf, covering almost half of the land in vicinity.

Other than hunting and farming, the Whale vilager, do a fishing too, especially for a night. But looking at the bad wheater, all of the vilagers, already inside their house, there are some with their family, friends, and realtives, eating dinner and dringking for the elders.

Excluding for the house in the east of vilage, almost mistaken for a guard house, the east wall of the vilage already combined with the wall of the house. Even though this wood house have no different characteristics from other houses, wood wall, and tiles roof, it's still making it a special.

Only an adult can live for their own without need of companion, its the basic belief that known, or its norm. But when a 5 years old kid living on their own, without needing an externel help from the adult, the norm have to think twice.

" 98..99..100 ". Bryan keep counting, but when the numbers reached an hundred, the sound of thunder outside stoped. After that he's stand up, wear his usual leather coat and get outside.

Whale vilage is not big, with a population of more than two hundred. With only two gate that lead to outside, at the south and the north. After passing through the wood house that still have light in it, Bryan reached the south gate.

" Bryan, carefull out there ". When seeing Bryan nearing the gate a guard in his thirty yelled at him. Equiped with leather armour and iron sword, coupled with the scar in his right face its trully look intimading. But his voice full of concern for Bryan making the scarry face gone.

" Okey uncle Nyk " Bryan said, and without stoping he keep walking. Exited the vilage, without looking back he keep going, until his silhouette gone, covered by the woods and the dark night.

" Sigh....a brave kid indeed ! ". With a tender smile in his face, Nyk remarked, after getting this guard job, he always saw Bryan alone, including farming and hunting, for feeding himself. Making a warm spot inside his heart, but not toward his son at his side.

" Hmp!...useless!!, if you can't give me a grandson next year, leave my house ! ". Nyk yelled at the youth at his side, despite have same feature, the conscience is world apart.

" Dad....will you be dead if you stop yelling at me?, its embarassing! ". His son's quietly remarked toward his father, but with the laughing sound of their collegues, its useless.

East of island, after entering the woods, Bryan keep going for a while, and after making sure of he's not followed, he come back toward to where he come from. The Vilage.

Seeing the distant south gate, he move toward the wall that have no guards atop it. He touched the hard wood wall, and touch the mark that he's leave, and began to counting in his mind. The hand that previously sliding at the wall abruptly fall to the ground, without any sound, he dig for a 1 meter.

With this night that hinder his vision, and not to make any sound or commotions why he's not go to his ussual hunting time, he slowly took a round grey rock from the ground.

A peeble size rock, after covering it with the already prepair rag, he's put it inside his cloths. Howsoever he do to it and sure that its will not fall, he's close the hole and resume his walk, toward deeper woods.
