Chapter 4: Low-key

Claude finished first on the element affinity test. All the girls scream with admiration to claude and those who belittle him just stays quietly on the sides.

"No-Now we begin the second test. Focus your magic power in the magic power tester and it will measure your magic power"

His friends were shocked by claude's affinity with 9 elements but Gwen stares at him silently while thinking that Claude's power must have reach the peak of sky realm because he can already cast strong magic spell at 14 yrs old.

Claude is thinking because he didn't know he has affinity with 9 elements and he is thinking that he just want to be low-key because his mom told him too.

Gwen tested with 1300 magic power and Leon tested with 1500 magic power. Claude supresses his magic power to Rain Rank low level so when he tested his magic power, 4 similar number showed up in the screen which is 1111. Students look dumbfounded because they thought that he is atleast on rain rank peak level because of his affinity.

Troy then tested with 1750 magic power and then he laughed and shouts loudly.

"Hahaha you thought being tested with 9 element affinity will make you a genius? You're just an ant beneath me. You shouldn't push your luck you peasants!"

Gwen and Leon are gritting their teeths in anger but claude just sit quietly listening to music.

"Claude are you just going to let it go?" Gwen asked

"Just let him be. He's just an idiot who feels like he can do anything with money but in reality he has no power."

The third test just pass by where gwen and leon performed with a 2 intermediate low level spell, troy performed a 2 intermediate mid level spell while claude performed a 3 combined begginer spell.

" Now. All students who pass the 3 test go to the arena and get ready for combat test."

"All student will draw lots for the combat test tournament. The first place will be given a breakthrough stone to help you breakthrough the sky rank and from 1st to third places they will be given the rights to choose their group member."

All students draw lots. Claude, Gwen and Leon are placed in different block. While troy is in the same block as Claude.

"If you win 3 matches you will be qualified to study in our school and to be the 1st place you must defeat all 4 students on the same block and you should defeat the champion from each block."

Leon swiftly defeats all his opponents on the same block while using only his strong wind spells and with the help of earth spells but loses to a girl using ice spell in the final block match while Gwen defeated 4 students but lose to a girl with summoning magic. The girl who defeated gwen is a girl who liked claude secretly since high school but doesn't have a courage to confess because of her poor girl status and due to claudes popularity.

In Claude's block he defeated his 4 opponents using only a beginner fire spell. He defeated his opponent with just one move. And in Block's Final match. His opponent was troy who ridiculed him througout the test.
