Afflicted With The Devil

It began to rain so they all went into the campsite. The campsite is a building built by the government for those who come to the island to explore.

Although, they were different campsites , they had to stay in the same site because the gemstones were merged together.

Earlier, when Davies told them to gather the gemstones together, once the the stones were placed together, they joined and formed a medium sized rock with various colors.

The merging together of the stones made the mini version of the devil's home to vibrate.

This meant that the 8 children had to stay together if they wanted the stone to be in one piece. The gemstones joined together were 8 because Lucy and Adrien were in another dimension with the devil.

**Davies: Are you cold?

Lucy: No.....not really.

Davies: (Hugs her)

Lucy: Dave, how did you know that those gemstones could come together and become one**.

Lucy asked Davies while staring at the colorful rock in front of her.

Davies: (Hesitates) I........I just thought of it.

Lucy: Hmm!

//Lucy's Thoughts//

Voice: You have a question. Come on ask it.

Lucy: I'm confused at how Davies had the idea of combining the stones.

Voice: You see........I think I need to confess about something to you. Although I shouldn't but I want to.

Lucy: Hmm!

Voice: The devil sent me.

Lucy: What?

Voice: I was told by the devil to tell Davies to combine the stones.

Lucy: But why?

Voice: I don't know but I'm sure about something.

Lucy: What's it?

Voice: Davies has the ability to hear me

Lucy: So?

Voice: So he's definitely afflicted with the devil.

Lucy: We are all afflicted with the devil, we have the gemstones.

Voice: Not on the case of you and Davies. You can hear me and he can too. There's something about him but I'm not allowed to tell you.

Lucy: Does he perhaps remember like I did.

Voice: Maybe........ maybe not.

Lucy: Hmm!

Man: Leave her alone, she's mine.

Adrien: No she's mine, I will never let her go.

Man: What makes you think she loves you. You're the direct opposite of her.

Adrien: Stop it........ Stop talking.

Adrien woke up from his nightmare after someone shook him awake.

Emma: What's wrong with you?

Adrien: I......I had a bad dream.

Emma: Would you like to share it with me then 😊

Adrien: I would rather not.

Emma: You should eat, the food will be cold if you don't.

Adrien: Yeah....... thanks

Emma left and Adrien sighed thoughtfully.

Adrien: That dream again. I keep on saying she's mine...............who exactly is she?

In the room, Davies sat on the chair staring at the mirror then a man suddenly appeared at his back. He turned back but saw no one then faced the mirror and saw the man again.

Voice: You can only see me in the mirror.

Davies: Why do you keep disturbing me?

Voice: It's not my choice, I was sent here to tell you something.

Davies: What?

Voice: Your father told me to tell you that you should combine Adrien and Lucy's stones with others.

Davies: Why?

Voice: I have no idea.

Davies: He's not my father........ not in this lifetime.

Voice: He also said i should tell you that you have good acting skills.

Davies: Acting?

Voice: Don't pretend that you didn't know it was the devil who possessed Lucy.

Davies: Whatever!
