Following that uncomfortable and embarrassing moment, the rest of the afternoon lapsed back into normality marked by laughter and tales of Matt's childhood and teen years. Many of these stories left him red-faced, ashamed that his beloved Luna should learn such things about him. However, despite the cringe-worthy moments his parents and sister put him through, he couldn't bring himself to be upset. His Luna's radiant smile erased any annoyance and helped him forget all the embarrassment they caused.
To cap off the day's events, having Monica meet his in-laws and sister-in-law, Lucia decided to serve a delightful afternoon treat. It was a large layered chocolate cake with layers of cheese and Nutella, all paired with a strong cup of coffee.
After the afternoon snack, it was time for the Alpha Supreme to return to his significant duties as the leader of his bloodline and pack. Monica breathed a sigh of relief hearing Matt take the lead in conversation, as she was at a loss for where to begin after an afternoon with his family. "Actually, I think you were the one who had more embarrassing moments, Alpha, with your family airing your dirty laundry and not allowing you to defend yourself," she replied.
Although Monica tried to tread carefully, she couldn't help her faux pas. The Alpha, seeing the teasing yet smiling face of his Luna, promptly ushered her into the room and locked the door behind. He quickly cornered her against the nearest wall.
Their breaths intertwined, for they stood mere centimeters apart.
"When did my rebellious, proud Luna, who would refuse to share a moment with me, turn into an enticing bunny, so tempting for an alpha wolf? A wolf who, since understanding the significance of destined partners, has awaited his Luna and now, having his dream realized, can only think of devouring his sweet bunny," Matt murmured.
Monica didn't comprehend how just a few words from his sensuous lips could stir such strange, new sensations within her.
"Alpha, I didn't mean to provoke you—I just found your reactions to your family's teasing quite amusing," she explained.
Monica's rational side urged her to flee from the wolf, whose lascivious grin betrayed his intentions clearly. Yet, her more carnal instincts clouded her judgment, driving her to explore the depths of feeling her destined mate awakened in her.
"You should know, having you so close is an agonizingly enticing temptation for both me and my wolf. On the one hand, I loathe your dress for making your body more beautiful than it already is and yearn to ravish and taste every part of you, which is driving me wild. I've imagined numerous ways to make you scream my name until you have no voice left. Despite the myriad sensations you stir within me, my Luna, reason still plays its part, reminding me that you are not yet ready for what I have and wish to give. So I must first prepare you, so you can endure all that I am, all that I have kept just for you."
Monica's inner witch was in turmoil, knowing that once the Alpha left, she would need a cold shower to quell the heat he had ignited. As new as she was to such things, she was not naive. She understood perfectly well what he was implying, especially when she felt something firm against her abdomen, signaling that if she didn't assert herself, she might be entirely consumed, or worse, need a wheelchair—as her brother-in-law joked.
"Alright, Alpha," she managed to utter, the words barely escaping her overheated mind.
Matt noticed his Luna's nervousness matched with her arousal, prompting him to tease her further to gauge her progress and to prepare her for the monumental confrontation ahead.
"My Luna, you are not yet ready to fully taste what this Alpha desires, but to soothe the heat you're feeling, I'll give you a glimpse of what I feel and yearn to do for you."
Before Monica could process his words fully, she found herself on the bed with her destined mate towering over her, feeling something considerable brush against her intimacy.
