I walked in, and I heard the buzz and fuss about an evening dinner party!? HM this will be interesting I said as I walked and scrolled through my phone about the new Information that has been trending around school I went to the washroom to apply lipstick in the mirror then I overheard something

Hmmm fifi and my so-called friend were discussing something quite Uhm interesting I stayed there a little more while putting on my red lipstick while I held my phone in my other hand and I pressed record

After I was done I went ahead to class and the same sly fox sat next to me during the lecture

After the lectures was over ha Eun came out and stretched then Du GU came to her with an intention she already knew as he brought out flowers for her no she said with a straight face look gu she said as she sighed softly let me say it in the easiest way possible I DON'T LIKE YOU OK? YOU WERE OLD NEWS GET OVER IT she said with a cold face and walked passed him as she smiled to him and just walked away

ZANE'S POV

I was at the university when i sensed something fishy was going on then I saw ha Eun walking alone I called one of my men follow her I told him keep an eye on her, I said but don't let her see you I explained yes sir he said,, and I cut the call

Later

as she was walking home at night she sensed someone following her then a hand suddenly grabbed her forcefully, and before she could even process what was happening the person injected her with a strange substance and she passed out

IN THE MEETING ROOM

Zane suddenly recieved a call from the bodyguard he picked up the call and and heard something "sir she's been kidnapped", kidnapped!? he questioned I told you to look after her and follow her you idiot! Yes but you also told me not to be seen he answered what use are you for zane said and cut the call then he stood up everyone in the meeting was shocked as he stood up and rushed out of the meeting with his long coat and a golden chain around his neck

HA EUN'S POV

I woke up still feeling dizzy and light-headed I looked around to scan the place I was in, but everything was still kind of blurry ugh how did I get into this mess I thought then a man showed up and shouted she's awake as he for she grabbed my head and put this down to the ground then I realized my clothes were half stripped oh god don't tell me he wants to … I thought I try to release my hands but damn these things were as tight as heck then the man slapped me and said be obedient just a matter of time before the toxin in your body starts to activate TOXIN!? Yes toxin he said pretty little thing I'm going to have some fun with you, I was too weak to even stand by now

Then the doors flew open and someone burst in president Zane!? And behind him were his bodyguards I'm not talking 2 or 3 I'm talking 45 bodyguards a faint smile appeared on my face as the smile on the kidnappers face disappeared they beat him up and this armed him boss what should we do to him they said take him and feed him to the dogs replied president Zane someone remind me to be on his good side from now on I thought then president Zane came to me and untied me and scooped me up in his arms since I was too weak to stand why do I always feel safe with him, I wondered are you okay? He asked not really I replied are you feeling worried I said as I looked up to him, he didn't reply and just took me outside it was rain outside, so he put me down and put a jacket over me

ZANE'S POV

I carried her and took her to the car for her to rest a little then she mentioned something about TOXIN!? in her blood and just a matter of time before it ACTIVATES!? I took my phone out of my pocket hello doctor lee come as quick as you can I said "but I'm on my lunch break" "ok ok Im coming" he said when I didn't reply

I told the driver to take us to my mansion yes sir the driver said

While still in the car ha Eun fell asleep little by little despite the toxin still being in her body and despite her feeling hot and sweating profusely ha Eun rested on Zane get up Zane said, but she couldn't get up she was fast asleep he let her stay there in that position for a while whilst looking at her till the driver announced that they have come home and Zane carried her inside while the doctor followed behind

The doctor was shocked after all the years that the doctor has been with him, he had never seen him come that close to a girl and care for her like that HM do I smell love he said

mind your business and do your work said Zane while putting her on his bed in his room

After the doctor treated her and gave her medication he told Zane to let her rest in his room

Later when she has already woken up she found Zane already asleep and the doctor came in oh you're awake he said most of the toxins already left your body, but you still need to rest let me share a secret I haven't seen Zane care for a girl ever like that normally when girls try to dote on him, he just shoves them away he said ha Eun laughed before he could say more Zane has already woken up and shut him up, so you want to lose your job lee he said with a stern face ok ok doctor lee said then he left while chuckling then ha Eun thanked Zane and said look you're taking a fancy for me already don't flatter yourself he said while he looked away

but three people were involved in my kidnapping from what I heard in the place where I was kidnapped

Who were they Zane said with an intention of punishing them

my own stepsister my fake friend and a girl named Ella

Ella? Zane said

yes do you know her asked ha Eun

she was the girl my family hoped I'd marry saying they'd already had plans and she had already gotten prepared

but I have no interest in that he said

so I got kidnapped partly because of you Humph how incompetent
