CHAPTER 4 : SHIVANSH

People say, that when a man's mistake is pointed out or You hurt a man's ego , he can never take it well. And though I never relate or give a **** of what people say or think , they aren't wrong in this. I am never able to take it when someone points out in my mistake so I never make one , except for the anger issues. Many girls with whom I dated or just shagged had many reasons to break up with me and on the top of the list was my anger issues. They never voiced it out , but I knew.

But today, when Ritu-Ritika stood up and didn't kept up with my anger, I felt awfully proud. No one has ever pointed out in my anger , not my parents , not friends and not even the exes. But she did. And anger was long forgotten instead I had a smile on my face. I didn't show her that though. I knew my face was changing expression from the typical frown I always had so I escaped.

"Did you find her ?" I speak on the phone with my PI.

"No Sir, but we might have got a little hint."

Shock would be an understatement for what I felt after my PI told me about the place she might be on, even though I shouldn't have expected anyless from her.

"Dada"

I cut the call as soon as I heard Avi's voice.

She strolled inside our house in a floral dress she probably borrowed from Ritika , because I know she didn't had one.

"Good morning dada. Ritika told me you came to pick me up and told me what happened yesterday. I am sorry ."

She made a cute pout she thinks I can melt with. But I fold my hands and look at her with stone cold face.

"You know the consequences right Avi. I have many enemies and the ones you met in past are the nobodies and minors. You know my enemies can use you against me and they can risk your safety just to blackmail me. Do you want that ?"

Now her face turned to a real sad and guilty one. I hate that look on her face but if I want to save her from this black world and to make her stand strong against it so I have to be strict.

"No dada, I don't want to be your weakness and the manipulator your enemies use against you . Sorry I will be better next time."

"I didn't me--" Avi looked down in dissapointed and went to her room.

"Mean that"

You have to do better Shivansh. You meant well but all she grasped Was you see her as someone useless . Fucker! Do better with words will yaa !?

I guess that's enough scolding myself.

But I should do something to make her happy again.

"What is this surprise about dada?"

Avi said as I settle in the driver's seat , she was already on the passenger seat next to me, Pouting.

After she went to her room sad in the morning , I couldn't possible have a good day so I followed her to her room and told her that I want to give her a surprise.

"This is literally the 7th time you are asking me since I told you about the surprise Avi." Putting the gear on the first gear , I start the car.

"Then just tell me what the surprise is, Simple." Avi shrugged her shoulders.

"Then how will it be a surprise."

"Ahhh WOWWWW !!!!

"I will act surprised like this" I chuckled at her damatics.

"You are really over-acting ki dukan."

"You can't call your younger sister who you are bribing..." blah blah blah blah

I zoned Avi out as I drive because if I kept listening to her tales , we might as well get into an accident.

We are finally at More's mansion. Well this isn't where my surprise is. But Avi demanded we take Ritika with us for the surprise. And here goes my plan to avoid whatever dysfunctional my heart is going through.

Avi rang the bell and thankfully this time it was Kaka who opened the door.

"Arey beta come" kaka invited us inside and faced me. "Thank it's you to this time Shivansh. The first time you came and returned without meeting me and the second time I wasn't  home." I nod and we all took a seat.

"Where is Ritu, Kaka." Avi asked excitedly.

"She is in the kitchen." 'Ritu , in kitchen??"

Avi acted shocked making me and Kaka chuckle. 

"Shocking right ? Today suddenly she was like you rest  papa , today I am trying new recipe."

"All the best Kaka, I hope she doesn't accidently poison it."

"AVI " This girl seriously has no filter to her mouth.

I thought Kaka would react but he just chuckled.

"Let it be Shiv , she isn't wrong . Ritu can't make food to save her life. God knows what would happen one she is married off."

"Sure she would make a good wife." Shit what did I just say.

I looked wide eyed at Kaka and Avi but they were nonchalant. Kaka had an amused look on his face.

"That's true. She might not be good at cooking but she is all rounder in every other field , helping me taking tuition when she herself was in 8th std. If the 14 year old Ritu and teach 10th std student then cooking isn't so tough for her now , just she have to take it seriously. That's why I never bother her to learn cooking. She will learn when it is the right time."

That's Kaka I know. He adores his children like flowers. Never fails to praise them. The warmth in his voice. No wonder Ritu has grown into most beautiful and kind woman.

Ugh not that again Shivansh. .

But That's true , she is beautiful , kind , hot ---

She is kind. Period.
