The light of the daylight seeped into the window of a room. Outside was a beautiful view of a fresh and beautiful garden filled with flowers and buzzing bees. The songs of a melodic birds chirping at the break of dawn drifted in.

Alcina lied on the bed while enduring the pain of the heat of the sun for the last few hours.

It has been a few hours that she has been awake. No, actually, she couldn't sleep the entire night.

In the story, Alcina Muell Quillan was known as the forgotten daughter of the male lead's father.

Basically, in the game in which the heroine transmigrated, she was known as the "fallen goddess" because of her breathtaking beauty and the "curse" she had, at the same time. A curse from which it started from her birth and her mother's death.

Her family neglected Alcina, and she later became a focus of harassment to her father's workers in the household, and even to the nobles.

Alcina's life had been in shambles since birth, so when the heroine arrived and saw how different her life was from her, she tried to end her.

Alcina had a frail body and a weak heart, which is why she is constantly exploited, particularly by the villainess. The villainess approached Alcina, intending to use her as a spy and a scapegoat of one of her plans. The villainess planned to kill the heroine so she ordered Alcina to poison her. Alcina tried to poison the heroine, but out of deep guilt of what she was attempting to do, she drank the poison before the heroine could drink it.

Eventually, the villainess was condemned, following Alcina's death.

That was how her life came to be. And now, that is how Alcina(Neira) will become to be.

A silent atmosphere instantly overtook the area before a loud scream could be heard...

Before, Alcina could continue her whinings, suddenly the door of her room opened.

"Creak."

Alcina immediately sit upright to see the person, and was surprised to see a woman wearing an old rag of clothes popping out from the door just as she was shocked to see Alcina too.

"A-!" She suddenly paused then burst after:" MY GOD! IT'S A MIRACLE!"

Without even letting Alcina say something, the door was suddenly slammed.

"Bang!"

Sometime later.

Finally, the woman from before came back with a person beside her who was currently carrying a briefcase.

As they walked in, Alcina guessed that the identity of the other person was a doctor.

"Check her please."

The woman politely and worriedly requested the doctor.

The doctor paid no mind with the maid as he instantly did what he had to do. Alcina on the other hand had no choice but to quietly observed what the doctor was doing with her body. First, he checked her pulse then she checked every upper part of her body until there was nothing left. This was the only time that Alcina could feel that there was a bandage wrapped on her head.

So that's why my head was heavy and tight... But what did happen to the previous Alcina that she had this?

Just as she was confused as herself, the people around her were confused as well.

"Well, doc?"

"...miraculously...she is alive."

The woman gasped in shocked as she heard that.

Whereas, Alcina on the other hand was dumbfounded to say the least.

Huh? Aren't I breathing? Of course, I am alive. Is this guy dumb?

What made Alcina even more dumbfounded was how the woman beside the physician started tearing up.

"M-miss...is alive! Thank goodness!"

Then a sudden gasp escaped from Alcina's lips as the woman suddenly jumped in joy to hug her.

"Miss Alcina! My mistress! You are alive!"

Alcina didn't know what to do with this situation as she could barely breath by the tight embrace.

This was suffocating to her.

"Umm... excuse me, miss... I can't breath. And you must be?"

Suddenly, the woman flinched in shock. She suddenly let go of Alcina's body and exclaimed.

"What?"

Even the physician's eyes were wide. It seemed like he wasn't believing what he was witnessing too.

Alcina who was now prepared to accept any shocking reactions from them, slowly confessed. With her eyes closed and a big smile plastered in her face, she said.

"Sorry, but I think I can't remember anything... Hehe~"

Like an innocent child, she giggled.

A silent atmosphere instantly filled the room until, just as Alcina had guessed, they shouted dramatically.

"WHAT?!"

And this is how Alcina's life began.

What a great day to start!
