The night before.. EP 5

We finally arrived and the excitement and confusion on everyone's faces were normal. Let me tell you the number of times I had seen this reaction from them was getting boring. Since we landed in my palace I decided to give them a tour of the palace first before going on to the big stuff. By the end of the tour, it was almost dinner time and so we all decided it would best to see the glory of my planet the next day. We all sat at the dinner table and as the food arrived I finally got to see an expression other than confusion or fear, it was disgust actually! but I can't blame them the food on Earth was quite simple but on this planet, we had a monstrous appetite hence the monstrous food.

" So, I know that most of you would not have the courage to eat the food we have on this planet which is why I asked my people to pack some earthly food for you. So do not worry, you have food but if you would like to taste one thing on this table, I would recommend the tartzooka and yes I realize it rhymes with dart zooka or something but it is exquisite."

Everyone jumped to eating their food as they had been hungry for some time but for me not so much since I couldn't help but worry about the early meeting I had with Blake about a "marriage" contract. I guess the expression was showing on my face which is why one of my guy friends, Noah, asked: " Hey Angel, what's wrong ?"

"Its nothing."

"Oh come on, I know somethings up I know that face of yours whether or not your in a completely different body and technically an alien."

Noah always knew how to make me laugh. He was always such a good friend to me and I hoped to return that favor to him someday.

"Well\, Noah\, I was just thinking about my meeting with Blake tomorrow and about how tired I am *fake yawn*  so I am gonna go ahead and go to sleep\, Andrew\, my butler will show you all to your rooms. Good night!"

I have no idea why I was in such a hurry to go to my room and lie about being tired maybe I just didn't want to show them my weak side. The next morning when I came for breakfast, while everyone was asleep, Andrew,  my butler asked:

"How did you sleep, ma'am?"

"Well, I slept fine Andrew. Why wouldn't I have."

" No reason ma'am"

That conversation felt weird to me but I ignored it well and went to my room after having breakfast. I changed and stopped to look at myself one time in the mirror which for some reason I hadn't done this morning which is when I realized I had huge dark circles, and let me tell you they were dark. I figured it was because I couldn't sleep all night because of the stupid meeting I had with Blake. The whole night I kept thinking of what if's but also thinking about the conditions I wanted to present and whether I wanted to yes or not? I quickly put on concealer and headed out the palace to Blake's.
