The Untold History

"Why's today's day dragging on forever? I'm so

tired, and the sun's just blazing above," Soul grumbled, baffled by the

never-ending daylight. "How do folks even manage to sleep in this place?

It's 2 PM now, and daylight was there at 2 AM too. This is just

unbelievable."

Gradually, the streets emptied out, and Soul's

exhaustion grew. Weariness and hunger gnawed at him, yet he couldn't spot a

single open shop. As around 10 minutes ticked by, the town appeared deserted,

devoid of any signs of life. Weary beyond measure, Soul's steps faltered, and

he collapsed while strolling down the quiet street.

Soul's eyes fluttered open in the cozy abode of an

elderly man.

"Where am I?" Soul questioned, his voice

tinged with confusion.

"You fainted in the middle of the street. I

brought you to my house," the old man's gentle voice explained.

"Thank you," Soul expressed his gratitude,

his stomach responding with a growl. "I'm quite hungry. Do you happen to

have anything to eat?"

The old man responded, "I have some fruits you

can have."

"Thank you once again," Soul replied with

a smile.

Soul gathered his thoughts and continued, "Hey,

I have a question for you."

The old man smiled as he nodded. "Go ahead,

young one."

"What's the deal with this weird town? Could it

possibly have a link to the Forbidden Will?" Soul questioned eagerly.

"Kid, are you absolutely certain you want to

know?" the old man inquired cautiously.

"Don’t mess around. Just spill it," Soul

urged impatiently.

"Alright, if you're that keen," the old

man relented. "This town is where it all began, right at the dawn of the

Will Era. It's the very spot where the God first appeared, unveiling THE GOD’S WILL

what we now call the Forbidden Will."

"Awwwesome! I knew there was something special

about this place, That’s the reason I came here, Well I’m so smart" Soul

exclaimed with enthusiasm.

"Listen up, there's more," the old man

continued. "The reason this town's kinda kooky is 'cause it got slapped

with a curse from the Sun God. See, the sun's beaming like crazy here all the

time, so it should be boiling, right? But, uh, it's not, 'cause...well, I ain't

exactly sure why. Sorry 'bout that. Anyways, before the DeathRain Era, this

place was a hub of culture and good vibes. People were chillin', living the

dream. Then, bam, Dark Century hit, and it's like 'poof,' no one's got a clue

what went down next…"

Snores

"Yo, are you even hearing me?" the old man

called out.

"ZZZzzz...Huh? Oh, yeah. What happened

next?" Soul jerked awake suddenly.

"Don't front like you were tuned in. Seriously,

nodding off while I'm spilling the tea?" the old man exclaimed.

"Oops, my bad. Go on, tell me!" Soul

grinned sheepishly.

"Dang, who knew old folks could still bring the

party?" Soul chuckled.

"Huh? You say somethin'?" the old man

raised an eyebrow.

"Nah, just talking to myself. Keep the story

rollin'," Soul grinned.

"Alright, buckle up, 'cause this is where it

gets juicy," the old man continued, leaning in. "This town? It's like

a maze inside a crazy puzzle. Everything you see, smell, and touch is all

cooked up in folks' minds – except the daylight, of course. This is the hotspot

for imagination-made environments. But hold your horses, only those with their

Will game strong can hack it here. Talk about exclusive, right? Not many cats

even know this joint exists on the planet. And getting in? It's like a one-way

ticket to the underworld. You feel me?"

"Eh, not really. I mean, I'm here, but I've got

no clue how I even got in," Soul confessed with a shrug.

"You what? You're messin' with me, right? You

don't remember getting in here?" the old man stared, disbelief etched on

his face.

"I wish I could mess with you, but nah, I'm for

real. The whole 'how'd-I-get-here' thing? Totally blank," Soul shrugged

again, looking unbothered.

"Man, you're like the living definition of

lost," the old man shook his head. "Well, suit yourself. But hey, if

you're gunnin' for that Forbidden Will, I'd tap the brakes if I were you."

"Tap the brakes? Nah, I'm gonna hit the gas

pedal and burn rubber, man!" Soul declared with a smirk.
