Say "Hi"

It was a happy family with a mother, a father and their sweet loving child.

 A happy family could be described in many ways. One of the most important traits of a happy family is taking care of each other and loving your close ones unconditionally.

Sounds pretty warm, doesn't it?  Well, this is a pretty different story.

It was late at night. Everything was going pretty normal. The 1-year-old child named Noah, along with his mother, Natasha, were lying on the bed before their bedtime. Noah, who's quite naughty, was wide awake and didn't want to sleep. So all he does is play on his own, with the little things he finds amusing. Natasha, who is just beside him, watches him with fondness, as she keeps waiting for him to fall asleep.

About 15 minutes later, Noah suddenly looks distracted by something. He keeps staring at the curtains behind him, from time to time. After a while, he begins to wave at nothing but thin air. Natasha, who is just beside him asks confusingly, "What's wrong? ". Noah continues to wave at nothing, "uh...oh..eh" says playfully, with his baby voice. Confused Natasha tries asking Noah again,"What is it? Who are you waving at? ". Noah looks at his mom with the eyes, desperate to show what he sees. The mother could do nothing but ask her child in a concerning voice. Although she couldn't understand Noah, she tried her best to get answers.

Natasha starts to analyze the situation by observing her child carefully. Noah constantly kept waving at the curtains and was also having some sort of conversation, which the mother could definitely not understand. Noah kept smiling, as though someone was trying to make him feel happy.

Not long after, Natasha gets a gist of the situation. Although she couldn't believe it herself, she somehow wanted to be certain. She grabs the photo frame, which was kept near the bed, on the table and shows it to Noah.

Noah, who was busy playing, diverts his attention to the photo frame shown to him by his mother.  To her surprise, Noah takes the frame from her hand and points to the person in the frame and starts looking at the curtains again. He begins to show the photo frame to the curtains, as though he was showing it to a person.

Natasha, who was watching all of this, started tearing up. She tried to talk to Noah.

"N.... Noah..", she continued with a trembling voice, " Is.. is that.. is that him? ". Noah looks at his mom with his lovely little eyes.

This left her speechless. She realized that the person in the frame was the same person Noah is able to see, but she isn't. Tears started flowing from her eyes, and her heart felt heavy.

With a shaking voice she asks him again, "Noah, is it dad? ". " Daada!" Noah shouts with a happy and adorable voice.

The photo frame contained a picture of Noah with his dad, who had passed away not very long ago.
