Rewriting My Story
When I opened my eyes slowly, an unfamiliar bright light greeted me as the tips of my eyelashes frowned in surprise.
I looked at my bed and all I knew was... it wasn't mine.
...****************...
My name isHave So, the peculiar lady who wears pants and uses sword. I often run around and is very carefree. Despite my shortcomings, I was described as the most respected person in the world.
With my rare blonde hair and blue eyes, I easily managed to attract any men, however, I failed seducing the grand Duke, my own declared soulmate whom I dreamt of since I was a child.
However, because of my peculiarity...
I, Hae So, soon rose to becoming the grand Duchess and married the man of my dreams. It was as if it all really was a dream... that I will soon wake upon.
Thinking about all of such things, I walked through our hallway and out of curiosity, I touched the wall with gray – no, purple color that seems to be rotating, pulling me inside.
The honorable knight seems to... have turned into a strange woman overnight.
...----------------...
"... where am I...?"
I shook upon hearing my own voice which were trembling, as if it was weak. My voice that was never this high-pitched and soft. I pushed my blanket away from me and immediately carried myself up in surprise.
My eyes wide open, wondering if I were dreaming.
"Why is my voice... no... my clothes...?"
As I slowly and carefully tugged the hem of my shirt, my hair fell into my shoulders which caught my attention.
My dreamy peculiar blonde hair... it has turned dull!!
'This couldn't be happening! There's no way...'
I closed my eyes and held my hair, pulling it, ending up hurting myself foolishly. I blinked twice and shaked my head thinking I should wake up soon.
My blonde hair that turned into brownish black hair is indeed not peculiar.
"No way... the Duke... he would for sure... divorce me!" My words slipped out.
I felt my hands were not full of scars and seemed like it never held a sword or any kind of weapon, weak like of a child's.
My hands slowly reached my chest which had indeed turned... smaller?!
I gasped for air and squeezed my cheeks wishing to wake up soon until it
everything to me. This is no dream.
"Haha... I must've gone crazy..." I mumbled as I stared at the huge mirror beside my bed.
Indeed this face wasn't mine. This body wasn't mine... and this world wasn't mine.
"Gosh... I can't believe I end up becoming like those in the romance novels..." I said softly to myself and hit my head on the wall.
"Ow... ow.. This reality... reality? Eh.... hahahaha!"
Had I turned mentally ill?
My blue eyes... it had turned green...
'So ugly.'
"Wait, was I calling 'myself' ugly?! No way, you won't do that, Hae So!"
I laid down my bed wishing that everything would turn fine after all.
"Jin-ah!!! Wake up!!!"
It was a voice of a woman in her 20's that automatically frightened this body and I unconsciously stood up, as if the original owner was controlling my body.
"Was that... my name?" I peeked out of my room and slowly opened it. It was poorly made so it made a lot of noises which seemed to have caught the attention of the woman.
"Oy, Jin-ah... you're late again." She sighed.
A woman with green hair and brown eyes... a similar face to mine. Seems to be the body's mother.
'The structure of this house for sure is weird..'
"Ahem, can I ask something?"
"Why aren't you calling me 'mama' today? Have you gone crazy? That's strange-"
"Who are you?"
The woman's soft face turned in utter surprise and she dropped the white mug she was holding. She didn't even move a bit.
"J-jin-ah... wh... what...?"
"Madam, move aside." I said as I swiftly cleaned the glass pieces out and threw them somewhere safe.
"You... did you really... forget me?"
I didn't hesitate to answer and turned.
Perhaps, I still wasn't accustomed to my voice that I struggled speaking.
"I don't really know you... and what's with the name? Mine is Hae So and... this place seems strange."
Her eyes weren't filled with surprise but with... regrets.
"What's wrong?" I blurted.
"You should take a school leave today, Jin-Ah."
She only said and turned back going upstairs, leaving me alone.
I'm actually glad she did. Because I had to process all this.
"Sigh... what a weird place...why does this place has no maids at all?" I looked around and ended up looking at the calendar.
"Weird writings but.... I can read it...?"
2017 March 7.
"... WHAT?!"
From year 1456 to... 2017...
I had gone to the future... a world that is very strange to me...
Indeed.
