Vino smiled and nodded, standing before Callie with bright eyes.

Callie's body pressed against Vino's, her arms wrapping around him, relief flooding through her.
They were not parting too soon after all that had happened between them.
Earlier, Vino had not disclosed his intentions, asking for a photograph from his apartment for something—Callie was clueless about Vino's motives.
It was unexpected for Vino to appear in her apartment so mysteriously.
"How did you get into the apartment, dear?" Callie asked, settled on the couch alongside Vino.
Vino placed his bags on the floor near the couch, replying with an enigmatic smile, "It's a secret. I can't tell you just yet."

A kiss landed on Vino's cheek; Callie looked at him with a playful glint in her eye. "How about now? Can you reveal how you did it?"
"No, I still can't share that secret with you," Vino affirmed with a firm shake of his head.
"What about this, then?"
Callie climbed onto Vino, positioning herself on his lap with a seductive pose. The room's temperature seemed to rise.
Unfortunately for Callie, Vino remained unpersuaded, shaking his head before setting her back onto the couch.
"It's far too confidential, darling. I just can't disclose it."
"Humph!" Callie huffed, frustrated by Vino's steadfast resolve.
Leaning on the sofa, she sulked, turning her face away, refusing to look at Vino beside her.
Vino sighed, acknowledging her stubborn nature, yet he genuinely couldn't reveal the secret—not just yet.
"Maybe someday, I'll tell you, as long as you're not upset with me."
"I'm not upset, just annoyed."
Callie's words contradicted her current demeanor. There she sat, angled away from Vino.
Recalling his role as a rented boyfriend, Vino racked his brain for a way to pacify her.
A lightbulb flickered above Vino's head as an idea emerged.
Slowly, he inched closer to Callie, then enveloped her in an embrace from behind.
"I'm sorry I can't explain the reasons to you. I need your understanding right now. I promise to fill you in later," Vino spoke with a deep tone and soft inflection.
The tender physical contact thawed Callie's frustration, prompting her to turn and clasp Vino.
Suddenly, her defiance softened to neediness. "Honey, I want to stay cuddled like this until the rental time is over."
"How much time do we have left?" Vino glanced at the clock on the wall.
"I booked you at 8 AM, and rental boyfriends finish their service at 6 PM. It's now 4 PM."
Callie showed her phone with the current time displayed.
"Two more hours, are you sure you want to continue holding me like this?" Vino inquired, confirming Callie's desire.
Two hours was not insignificant, especially when spent simply sitting and waiting, stretching the time even further.
Looking into Vino's captivating, kind eyes, Callie nodded softly, asserting, "I am certain. I've missed a warm embrace like this."
With those words, she held Vino tightly, her body pressing against his in a comforting manner.
"So you know, it's been a while since I've seen my family. They're always busy with work, my siblings and I rarely gather. It's been so long since I've felt an embrace like this. Now, at thirty-four, unmarried, I yearn for the family warmth," Callie confessed, sharing a glimpse of her life.
Vino initially saddened, now stood shocked, his body freezing momentarily.
"You're thirty-four?" he asked, eyeing Callie incredulously.
She nodded within his hold, admitting truthfully, "Yes. You probably wouldn't have guessed my age."
Indeed, Vino had not.
From their first meeting, Vino saw Callie as age-equivalent, due to her youthful, vibrant appearance.
However, her physique was certainly more developed than that of many younger women.
With this revelation, Vino's mind buzzed with realization.

"Mark?" Vino puzzled over Callie's intent.
"Kiss and nibble my neck a bit. Go on, do it quickly, darling!" Callie urged, amused by Vino's innocence.
For Callie's five-star rating, Vino left his mark swiftly upon her neck.
A red mark emerged there, testament to the kiss and light bite that colored her skin.
"Okay, I've given you five stars."
Vino nodded and smiled at Callie. "I must go now. It was a pleasure being your boyfriend for today. Goodbye!"
With that, Vino exited through the door under Callie's gaze.
His figure vanished, truly leaving her apartment.
A mix of loss and joy churned in Callie's heart. Renting a boyfriend turned out to be a splendid experience.
"Wait, how did he leave?!"
Only then did Callie realize Vino had appeared so suddenly in her previously locked apartment.
How did he leave without entering from the outside?
As Callie inspected her apartment, Vino had indeed disappeared without a trace.
With lingering curiosity, she took the elevator down and left the building, yet Vino was nowhere to be found.
"A mysterious, handsome man," Callie murmured, looking down the street ahead.
