Chapter 2: The Downfall...part 1

Everything came spiraling down on me, I didn't see this coming but in the back of my mind the thoughts creeped out, the moment you fall for the new intern it's the invitation of your Downfall. Still no use, even with these thoughts Rivara didn't seem to expect what was yet to come.

It all started after the new interns welcoming party, she got the chance to train interns in her own department and as an assistant to herself. She thought Cline would not mind at all, but he did mind it, for him taking a young boy as an assistant didn't go well with him even though she explained to him that he was an exceptionally well architect pass out with previous internship from Evans Rowling the famous and prestigious designer whom Rivara looks onto for inspiration. She just couldn't let this intern go away to another team and one step away from her promotion to becoming Chief Designer. Her lifelong dream to which she put up with all the unpleasantries from her ex-boyfriend. If now she doesn't act then it would be like enduring all these things would mean nothing she would make a joke of herself and that she couldn't let it happen, after all it took her to reach at this point, there's no turning back, but destiny has been very cruel to Rivara she has her own plan for her.

The new intern is Desmond Steinfeld, hiding his identity he is Desmond Welshire younger brother of Drew, but Rivara doesn't know anything about him as he was always away from home and kept a low profile. He's 23 years old and has achieved a lot, and he doesn't want to take a management role, so he wants to start from the bottom to get a good hold on the company for himself with all the trust and support of the employees. He wants to justify that it's not sheer luck but hard work, and he's worth it and has earned it.

The better way to get a glimpse of working with the employees and design team, so he can take over the design team as management he's brother is there for him, he wants to work on his dream work first then the rest and the best way to make it by working under Rivara.

Working on the projects with her was not easy for him as he didn't like her approach on many things, but she has more experience in these than him, so he had to tolerate her and the way she would tease and make fun of him along with other teammates would really annoy him to the core.

Likewise, Rivara too didn't have a better view of him except for his designs, methods, style which he had acquired while working on with Evans Rowling. They are always odds at each other still it helps the project as it brings the uniqueness and many aspects where she wouldn't have thought so , because of these she was tolerating him but little did she know this tension, banter between them would lead to something which will in turn in disasters in her life and lead to the downfall of everything with her life hitting rock bottom.
