When we got back we wanted to get into bed and relax but the universe had another plan. I hadn't taken my phone with me since I rarely get any calls so there wasn't much point and I didn't want to fear for another thing besides my glasses and my life on the rides. When we got home I went to take a shower right away after an hour or so after walking around the house mindlessly drinking water and occasionally talking to my cousins I decided to look for my phone. I had left it on the central table but it wasn't there so I decided to go look for my mother since she would know where it is .
I really didn't want to go to her since I really hated the idea of creating the guests who were sitting in the drine room especially since I have no ******* clue about who they are. I went to the mirror and fixed my messy hair to some extent and grabbed a dupatta, since if I don't my mother had hanged me from this dupatta. I took a deep breath and opened the drine room door, as soon as I opened the door 4 pairs of eyes fell onto me. I smiled and walked in and greeted the guests, then I went to my mom and asked her about my phone. She gave me my phone and told me that my dad had called me, as soon as the phone got into my hands I didn't waste a second and turned around really to leave. But as soon as I got to the door I was stopped by my grandparents.π-π
First my Nani introduced me to the aunty while the uncle listened. Meeting them wasn't bad and was leaving happily since they had given me 10000 rupees in the honor that I'm starting uni. Until he walked in. You're wondering who he is, well telling that he is the reincarnation of the devil himself will be an understatement of the century.
He is the grandson of these angel-like money giving uncle and aunty. His name is Aahil Ahmed, from first impressions he doesn't seem that bad, when I mean first impression I mean when he keeps his mouth shut. He walked in from the other door of the drine room, he greeted me and sat down. His grandfather introduced me while I stood there awkwardly, I was admiring his face since he was good-looking and was wearing a nicely styled suit. My weak spot. Aahil asked me about what field I'm going into,, and I said gynecology while sitting down across him, and he further asked, " why are you choosing gynecology, it requires a lot of energy, and time." I replied, " it's the field that's for sure never going to have a stop since kids will always be born also it's a field that's female dominant and most importantly the money, I like the money that's coming with it". The adults found my reply amusing except for him. The nerve of this guy to say," are you sure you're going to a medical university to get a degree and work or are you going to uni just to find a husband and build your marriage portfolio". I had to use every bit of my energy not to lash out at him and I responded composedly, while trying to keep my smile," what makes you think I'm going to medical university to find a guy, I didn't work so hard just to end up with a guy. And to the extent of building my portfolio by going to uni I find it very idiotic of girls who do that since they are throwing years of hard work on the slim chance that the guy they like or the guy they are marrying will treat them right. I myself won't make that mistake I went into medicine with the idea of establishing myself and I will only marry a guy after I establish myself. Also, I don't need to go to a medical university to make my marriage portfolio likable I already am likable unlike someone.". As soon as he opened is mouth to respond, his grandfather interrupted and tried to cool things off.
I greeted everyone again and left the room, I didn't know I could hate someone by them just saying a sentence.I went to my room very pissed about what happened like the nerve of this guy to walk into my family home and say such shit In front of the adults. Besides the anger towards him, I am very glad that his grandparents gave me money, that's the one thing stopping me from cursing at him. Hopefully I don't meet him again.
Since normally the family friends hardly come about once a year as a lot of them live outside the city or are busy.
