Yesterday afternoon I landed in Karachi, the lovely humid air with a strong smell of smoke . Aah my favourite place in the world not because of the view but because of the memories I have with the people here. A bit of recap I came to Karachi to study medical at DOW medical university, I came here with my mom. Since one she doesn't trust me enough to let me go in but mostly because she came to visit her family , who are also the people I'm staying with.

When we left the airport we searched for the family driver to no avail. So my mother called him and from a distance I saw a man waving his hands , to think he could tell it was us from that far away is amazing. For example he was about ten cars away , but granted we were like a sore spot in the crowd as we were wearing colourful clothes. As a piece of information, people in Karachi don't really wear bright colours daily, only on special occasions.

We got in the car and left to go home. We were warmly welcomed by my Nani and Nana . My cousins and aunt were also there, I took a quick shower and we started talking . That night Nani and Nana ordered pizza for us and we had a pizza party, which is how she always welcomes us. My cousins and I kept talking till 1in the night , basically until they had to leave. After they left I got settled in my room.

Right now I have about a week before uni starts , so until then I'm just collecting the stuff I need which is not much. Currently I'm less afraid of starting uni and more afraid of making friends. That is if I can make any, since I'm just like every other girl but make me more introverted and antisocial. The only thing stopping me from making friends is myself. So I have exactly one week to fix this little issue of mine or else I can enjoy being alone for the next 4-5 years in uni.

Well anyway I went to sleep that night and fell asleep right away. Next morning I woke up and had a pretty normal day , I had breakfast and unpacked . I went out to get the books I needed when I returned my cousin s had come and we had a karaoke night which is a thing I started a few years ago . It was basically me singing in the worst way possible and my cousins making videos of me. We all sat outside in the nice hot and humid night and I sat and started singing while eating ice cream sometimes the others joined in and sometimes they just enjoyed me singing. Before anyone thinks that they just enjoy making fun of me then Ur wrong since the whole point of karaoke night is to be confident even if Ur bad and I whole heartedly enjoy every bit of it.

Today my cousins decided to stay over so we talked till the sun started to rise, after which we went to sleep. We woke up at 12, let me rephrase I woke up at 12 and woke everyone since if I'm awake then everyone else needs to wake up. That afternoon we went to lucky one mall and went on its rides.
