Taehyung to Jungkook

"This is Kim Taehyung. Your new member. Please be nice to him since he's new to this." IU pointed Taehyung.

"Hi." Seokjin said. Bored already.

"Don't like me? Don't worry I'll change team too if I could." Taehyung said, shrugging.

"Nice to meet you." Jimin said. Smiling at the man. Taehyung nodded in return.

"Jimin, since you're being mature right not, please show him his room." IU sighs, "I'll go now. If you need anything you can go back to my office."

"Thank you." Taehyung politely bows at her. "It's nothing! Well then, see you soon!"

Closing the door, Jimin let's out a smile. 'Oh. His eyes disappear when smiling.' Taehyung thought.

"I'll first introduce you to the other members." Jimin takes his hand, "Oh finally someone unique in the team. I'm tired of seeing their ugly faces."

"What ugly?! I'm worldwide handsome!" Seokjin interupts him. "Sorry for my attitude earlier. I am Kim Seokjin, a case informer member. I handle which cases suits our team and provide the details that the police has given us."

Taehyung now knowing the other party is not hostile, let's nodded. "Nice to meet you."

"This is Jung Hoseok. He's an information member just like me. We are mostly the one who study the crime scene and we can also get infromation from outside. What we do is really cool!" Jimin winks at him, Taehyung sneers in response. "Say hi, Hobi!"

"Hi." Hoseok smiles at him before giving him a cup of hot chocolate. I made you this. Don't worry it's not poisoned."

Taehyung accepted the cup before nodding once again. "Thank you for this."

"What a polite new member." A man with glasses looks at him. "Nice to meet you, Kim Taehyung. I'm Kim Namjoon, the leader of this group. I don't particularly do anything important, mostly I get to say the final decision or the conclusion of the crime."

'What a lie.' The other three talked in chorus in their mind.

"I don't believe some of what you've said but I understand." Taehyung replies, "Nice to meet you."

Stunned, Namjoon smirks in respond before nodding. "The one sleeping on the sofa is Min Yoongi. He is our defense member. He mainly focuses on bombs and overall the defense of the whole group. He invents amazing tools, hopefully you'll like them."

Taehyung looks at the sleeping man before looking at Namjoon. "Are you a team of 5?"

"No we're a team six actually. The other member is Jeon Jungkook." Namjoon replied, "He's currently in you room, sleeping. He's our attacker. He specializes in weapons. He identifies what kind of a crime scene is infront of us. It's a bit hard explaining what he does but you'll understand it."

Namjoon waves a folder infront of them. "After all, we will be taking a new case tomorrow."

After Jimin showed his room, he looks around. Unlike before, he couldn't feel the eyes that kept watching him.

"So you're the newbie."

Taehyung met a pair of eyes looking a him. "Jeon Jungkook."

"Kim Taehyung." Taehyung replied before opening his bag, taking his things out.

"I suppose Namjoon already explained what I do?" Jungkook questioned him. A heavy air surrounding them. Taehyung felt a little uncomfortable with his eyes.

Taehyung instead nodded. Not bothering to answer the other.

Jungkook on the other hand, looked at him with great interest. The latter was quiet as if he isn't uncomfortable with the look Jungkook was giving him. Jungkook was staring at him without saying anything that Taehyung couldn't bear it anymore. "What?"

"You look cute acting all tough." Taehyung's eyes twitched at his remark. "What the **** do you want?"

"Nothing, don't be angry now." Jungkook teased him. "Let's cooperate from now on."

Taehyung didn't reply to him but rather opened the suitcase given to him. Curious, Jungkook looks at the content of the suitcase. 'New clothes.'

Taehyung hums in happiness. 'New clothes! Nice.'

Jungkook continues looking at Taehyung who is now organazing his clothes. 'Unlike me, he didn't come from a rich family.' Jungkook leans on the bed frame, 'The state of his bag and clothes isn't from an average family either. He also look uncomfortable with the things around him. As if he didn't have things like this before.'

"What are you looking at?" Jungkook snaps out of his trance. Seeing that Taehyung is already finished and sitting on his own bed. "Nothing. Don't mind me."

Taehyung didn't reply and instead stands up. "Where are you going?" Jungkook also stood up, unconsciously following Taehyung. "Out. A new case."

"Good, everyone is here." Namjoon looks at the pair walking down the stairs.  Taehyung looks around, the whole team is complete. "Sit down and let us discuss our schedule."

"Tomorrow, I will be giving out the information about the case we have taken. The time of our meeting will last for two hours. I will need all hands on deck. I will be re-announcing the position of members as Taehyung is new. Tonight, each of us will assess him and see which field he shines the most. Remember, no biases."

Jimin sighs, "I was about to make him an information member." Hoseok, who was beside him, laughs. "Good thing you caught him, Namjoon!"

"Also I will be requesting you, Taehyung, to take off your mask when inside the house." Namjoon looks at taehyung who closed his eyes. "Unless you give us any valid reason why we should let you have them at all times."

Taehyung's hand moved on his own, taking his mask off. "No, I'm fine taking them off."

"Ohh~" Jimin squinted his eyes on Taehyung. "Damn, you're handsome."

"Thank you for the compliment." Taehyung replied in a monotone voice. "I admit you are handsome, but I'm still worldwide handsome, you got that?" Seokjin huffs.

Taehyung nodded, "Anything else?"

Namjoon smiles and shook his head. "No more. Shall we start with your assessment?"

Taehyung was dismissed early and now the other members are discussing which field he will be in.

"He shows great skills in defense." Yoongi started, "He has a fast response and have awareness of his  surroundings. He can also handle bombs without any problems."

"As for mine, he also shows great potential being an information member. He is familiar with every alley and places of the whole district." Hoseok puts his files on the table. "He knows a lot of people that could help us if needed. Lastly, he is very familiar with how a crime scene works."

"Wow, he's amazing!" Jimin's eyes sparkled, "How about you Seokjin?"

"I made him check which cases we can take, don't worry it was our past cases. He showed critical thinking, expressing his ideas without any problem. He explained how the cases suits our team and I believe he passed with flying colors."

 "Jungkook?" Namjoon looks at the quiet man. "Did he pass or fail your assessment?"

"He passed." Jungkook rplied, "He is indeed fast and can catch up on my pace."

Yoongi's eyebrow arched at Jungkook's expression. "You're taking great interest with him huh?"

"Yeah. He was able to follow me in seconds. Quite unique." Jungkook leans on the sofa.

Namjoon claps his hands, "Looks like we have another all rounder member!"

Jimin smiles, "He is indeed compatible with our group."

"Where do we put him then?" Hoseok asks, "You know, I don't mind having another information member!"

"Yes. I will be putting him on the information field. As for the reason..." Namjoon waves a small usb. "He has given his own observation to each one of us."

Seokjin looks at the usb in his hand. "Final nail?"

"He answered the last question, 'Each member of the group dssplayed great abilities and I am certain that each one of them are all-rounders.' Quite amazing right?" Namjoon laughs. "He was able to know that we are all-rounders. I believe he'll be very useful."
