Chapter 2

"A... swamp monster?" Jungkook blinked his eyes letting the word sink in.

"That's what I said. You know, dripping, lumbering, stinky?" She hummed and looked at Jungkook who bit his lip at the suggestion.

"...Why? You don't like it?" She asked seeing his not so excited face.

"No, it's not that! It's just... Your aim is to make a scary book, right? Do you think a swamp monster is scary enough?" Jungkook mumbled.

"Well, I... I don't know. I guess it's just the first idea for a villain that came to mind. But I'm open to other suggestions! Do you have any thoughts?"

"I mean, there are lots of directions you could take this. You could do a werewolf.....

They're powerful, they have big teeth and claws, and underneath it all... they're human!" Jungkook smirked.

"Ooh, I like that. Your fear of the creature is combined with your pity for the person inside. Powerful stuff!" Ms. Lee chirped.

"Or you could push it even further and go with the classic serial killer. That way you can dig into their psychology." Jungkook shrugged.

"You're right! That's even scarier because it could be real! And who knows what dark secrets drive someone to kill a bunch of innocent kids?

These are great ideas. But which one do you think would work best?"

"I like the...Serial killer. You'll have so much material to work with! Just imagine delving into the twisted mind of a murderer."

( A/N - I took advice from my friend to choose one from them. My original idea was swamp monster but when I asked her she choose the serial killer from my options so yeah I changed the plot a bit according to it lol )

"I'm already thinking up tragic backstories! Jungkook, I just want to say that I really appreciate your input." Ms. Lee chirped. Jungkook grinned.

"If it's not too much to ask... Maybe you could read through my manuscript? I can give you a copy.There are parts that aren't fully fleshed out, and I feel like you'd know what direction to take them." Ms. Lee asked.

"Sure, it's no trouble. Would you mind if I showed it to the whole group?" Jungkook asked.

"That would be perfect, actually! They might have valuable insight into their character's motion. Oh, also... Remind me who you're dating in real life, Kook? I get confused with all of your actions. You guys act lovey dovey with every member."

"Why, is there a... romantic aspect to this story as well?" Jungkook asked while being a little flushed.

"I'm just trying to stay true to reality!" Ms Lee smirked.

"Well it's Taehyungie hyung" Jungkook mumbled while his cheeks tainted a deep shade of red.

"Perfect, I got it right!" She squealed out.

"Yaah just gimme the script." Jungkook mumbled in embarrassment.

"All right, let me make some quick changes based off of your suggestion to change the monster..." Ms. Lee chuckled.

She opened a file on her computer and types for a minute, then prints out the new version. Then she gathers up the stack of paper and hands it to Jungkook.

"Guard this with your life!"

"Of course! And damn I look forward to reading more. But it's starting to get late, so I should probably head home..." Jungkook pouted.

"Ah yes, don't let me keep you waiting. Thank you again!"

Jungkook picks up the manuscript and exit the office, giving Ms. Lee one last smile before he left.

Later that night, he sat on his bed, reading over Ms. Lee's manuscript. Just then, he hear a soft knock on the door.

"Come on in!" Jungkook shouted.

Tahyung enters and closes the door behind him. He plops down beside Jungkook on the bed, planting a kiss on his shoulder.

"You ready for the Halloween party tomorrow? Jimin had me out buying decorations all day." Taehyung mumbled glances around Jungkook's room.

"Although it looks like you got a head start." Taehyung grins.

"Well, it's the season. Time for spooky decorations, Halloween parties, horror stories..." Jungkook chimed.

"Horror stories? Are you again trying to write a novel on wattpad?"

"Not exactly... See for yourself." Jungkook chuckled and hands him the manuscript. Taehyung skims over the page Jungkook was reading.

"Ms. Lee was assigned a task of writing a novel upon us with this Halloween theme." Jungkook explained.

"Wait, is V supposed to be me? He seems like an idiot." Taehyung sighed.

"Well, V is a caricature of you. She's making us the tropier, horror movie versions of ourselves!" Jungkook chuckled.

"But aren't they a little bit exaggerated" Taehyung gasped.

"It's actually hilarious. Personally, I'm really enjoying the antics of V, Suga, Jhope, and the whole gang... And, just glancing through, it seems like V spends a lot of his time with his shirt off..." Jungkook trails off while being a little shy.

"Hmm, maybe I should take after my caricature a little more..." Taehyung smirked loving the blush on his lover's face.

Jungkook whined and shook his head and Taehyung chuckled.

"Okay okay, I will stop but now I'm curious about this novel. You've got to read some of it out loud." Taehyung hummed.

"Okay, prepare yourself. From what I've read so far, this is going to be a trip..." Jungkook hummed.

Jungkook was stacking an armful of RM's books on an endtable when he felt a cold hand against the back of his neck.

"Ahh!" Jungkook spun around to see his boyfriend V cracking up, a cold beer in hand.

"You should see your face!" V chuckled.

"Why would you scare me like that? This place is creepy enough to begin with!" Jungkook whined and smacked V's rock hard chest.

" Here let me give you a better target." V put down his beer, then pulled his shirt off to reveal his Adonis like body.

"Really Is he shirtless for this whole thing?" Taehyung sighed.

"I mean, from where I'm standing, that's not such a bad thing. Now, do you want to hear what's next or not?" Jungkook blinked.

"Fine, fine, shutting up!" Taehyung quickly said.

"C'mon, babe, don't be mad. Let me make it up to you. I can make you shiver in a hot way." V raised his lips, giving his famous smirk. He flexed his pecs, then wrapped his strong, Herculean arms around Jungkook.

"Oh, get a room, you two!" Chimmy yelled.

"Fine by me!" V winked at Chimmy and pulled Jungkook through the front door and right outside of the cabin.

In seconds, his hands were tangled in Jungkook's hair, and his lips moved fervently against Jungkook's.

"Oh V" Jungkook moaned breathily and flung his body against Jungkook's, feeling the outline of each individual ab.

"Okay, I think that's enough of that." Jungkook quickly shut the manuscript.

"What, you don't want to read any more about what 'each individual ab' feels like?" Taehyung grinned.

"More like I don't want to know what Ms. Lee thinks each individual ab feels like." Jungkook sighed.

Taehyung chuckled and pecked his shoulder.

"But aren't the things escalating way too quickly in it" Jungkook mumbled.

"Well it's realistic babe, things can escalate in just a matter of a few seconds." Taehyung winked at it.

"I don't think so" Jungkook chuckled.

"Do you want me to prove you that?" Taehyung smirked and takes Jungkook's hand, guiding it to his stomach, and Jungkook felt the solid warmth of his muscles.

"I think...I'd love to get the real Taehyung shirtless." Jungkook hummed with a glint of arousal in his eyes.
