Chapter 1

The pitch black night parted as a pair of headlights fell upon an old cabin.

RM turned off the ignition, and his friends slowly disembarked from his van.

"Looks like we made it! Our weekend getaway!" Jungkook grinned.

"I don't know... A big creepy cabin in the middle of woods, miles away from civilization? This feels...kinda spooky." Jhope muttered with uneasiness.

V crept up behind Jhope, his football slung under his arm and whispered in Jhope's ear.

"Maybe it's full of ghosts!"

Jhope jumped, letting out a gasp and V laughed. He threw the football at Jhope who fell backward with the force of impact.

"Ugh!" Jhope whined.

" V! You are gonna exorcise the ghosts right?" Jungkook chimed in.

"Yeah, boy. If there's one thing I know how to do, it's exorcise." V raised his arms and flexed his biceps, then kissed one.

"C'mon, bros, don't be chicken. We came here to, like, have a rad weekend, you know?" V grinned in excitement.

"Hell yeah! I don't know about the rest of you, but I planned on partying until I pass out!" Chimmy chuckled.

V and Chimmy cheered, beating the side of the van until RM stepped out, frowning. He pulled a stack of books to his chest.

"Would you two please attempt to control yourselves? I was hoping to take advantage of the peace and quiet to read." RM muttered while frowning slightly.

"Seriously, Rapmon? Who brings books to a weekend rager?" V tsked.

"Well, pardon me if I don't find much gratification in getting blackout drunk. I'll rage with Thoreau instead." RM shrugged.

"I don't know about Thoreau, but / brought some video games! Any of you noobs up for the challenge?" RJ squealed.

"Uh, you brought games? RJ, I don't think this place even has electricity!" Chimmy tilted his head in confusion.

"Geez, how did we wind up with all you nerds? Come on, Suga, tell me you're down to get wild this weekend." V sighed.

Suga stood off to the side and gazed into the dark trees, smoking a cigarette. He pushed a lock of hair from his forehead, his mind elsewhere.

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever." He shrugged.

"What about you, Kookie?"

"I want to go crazy. We've all had so much on our plates this quarter... We deserve to let off some steam!"

"Now that's what I'm talking about! Let's have a night to remember!" Chimmy did a cartwheel then skipped towards the cabin.

"Last one to the door has to carry my bags!" He squealed before going inside.

V tossed his football again, and it whizzed by RM's head almost hitting him. Startled, he dropped his books.

"Oh, dude! You just got, like, totally pwned!" Jhope chuckled.

"I'm afraid I don't quite follow. Today's slang often eludes me." RM sighed.

Suga stalked past them, grabbing the cooler from the van. He pulled out a beer and lit another cigarette.

"Hey, are you gonna help us carry this stuff inside, or what?" Jhope squeaked out.

"Maybe" Suga leaned carelessly against the side of the van and cracked open the can, his cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth.

Suddenly, the night air was split by a sharp whistle. V waved from the porch.

"Guys, seriously, this party isn't gonna throw itself! Don't tell me you're scared!" V sighed.

A gust of wind blew through the trees, emitting an eerie rustling noise.

"Okay, I'd rather get inside at this point." Jhope muttered.

"Yeah, let's head in. And don't worry about the electricity... I brought DnD as backup!" Chimmy piped in.

"Hey... Can I interject for a second?" Jungkook mumbled while reading the script. Ms. Lee looks up from her manuscript, gazing at him from across her desk.

"Yes? Do you like it so far?" She asked him with hopeful eyes.

"Look, Ms. Lee, I think it's great that you're working on another book, and I'm flattered that you'd ask my opinion... but everyone's behaving way too strangely."

"I mean, Taehyungie hyung reads like a jerk-y jock, Namjoon hyung is acting like a total square...And what's up with Yoongi hyung and this whole brooding loner thing?" He continued.

"Jungkookie, the horror genre is all about tropes! The party animal, the athlete, the scholar...I figured you'd be familiar. I'm trying to push their personalities into more exaggerated characters!" Ms. Lee explained.

"All right, I get it. It's just a little unsettling to read about characters who are like me and my friends, but... off. You know?"

"Jungkook you need to read more wattpad stories then, there has been way too much exaggerated content you might be shocked to see. This is the least I am doing."

"Ugh don't remind me Ms. Lee about that. I have accidentally read one of their smut one-shot. I can't believe the army were that much kinky."

"Yeah so you know that's why we need to exaggerate your characters a little bit. But I don't want to do it over the top. And that's part of why I invited you here today. I want to get your input so that these characters feel... realistic." Ms. Lee said and Jungkook raised his eyebrows.

"Or, as realistic as possible within the horror tropes. But there has to be some truth underneath the exaggeration." She continued.

"So... you're asking for my input, then?"Jungkook asked.

"Absolutely! I have the main story mostly worked out, but I thought you could help me polish some of the details." Ms. Lee nodded her head.

"Sure, no problem. Why don't you start by giving me the rundown of what happens?"

"Okay, so it's a basic slasher story. These students go to this little cabin in the woods for a fun weekend, and are killed off one by one..."

She grinned excitedly and Jungkook nodded his head to make her keep going.

"By ..."
