Episode 4.1

“Be quick he’ll be here any seconds now” Laila said as she rushed her maid to dress her hair.

Today Klaus will be taking her around the shopping district, “have you gotten the hair clips I told you to put out”

The room was very busy this morning with maid running round the room while being given orders by Laila.

“Miss the Master wants to see you” the maid said as she bowed to pass her message.

“Not now” Laila quickly said but as she looked out the window “wait, I guess I have some time to spare”

Laila finished her last touchings on her hair and she rushed to meet her brother.

“Why are you so rushed today” Tyler asked as he sat down on a sofa.

“I have an appointment”

Tyler’s face darkened and frowned, he’s eye bags was very visible and his face pale it was obvious that he wasn’t getting much sleep.

“Brother are you feelings alright” Laila asked as she noticed the difference in his face.

“Ah yes that’s something I want to talk to you about so about-“ before he finished a maid came to inform them about Klaus arrival.

“Brother can you tell me this when I get back ok” Laila said as she rushed to the door “oh and don’t forget to drop Aria at that her party today”

And before Tyler could say a word Laila was gone “that girl..”

After the whole date

“Laila I have a surprise for you actually” Klaus said as he escorted her down from the carriage.

Her smile grew wild as she got down but to see soldiers surrounded her mansion the smile that grew quickly died down

“What’s this Klaus”

“Shhh it’s a surprise but you’ll need to close your eyes”

Klaus handed her a blind fold, a bit reluctant but ended up taking it “this better be good”

“Oh it will be”. Klaid said as he led her through the empty garden that usually had gardeners working on it,

Klaus held her hand as to lead her into the huge mansion the front door opened and it was... quiet.

She knew something wasn’t right in fact it was very wrong something felt off, the halls echoed with the sound of their foot steps.

“Why is everywhere quiet” she finally asked, her lips now pale and dry as she struggle to gather saliva.

“It’s part of the surprise”

As they got deeper into the mansion she was hit with a strong smell, it was a smell that normally won’t be very obvious but because she spent a lot of time with her sickly mother it was very familiar.

“Blood...” she thought “why would there be blood” she asked her self over and over again.

“What if-“

She couldn’t bring herself to think of such things, she didn’t want to believe it.

“Watch your step, we have arrived”

A door opened as she felt a lot of presence around her.

“You can take off your blind fold”

Laila gently untied the knot and as the blind fold fell off her face she fell along with it.

A sight that she wished to be a nightmare was in front of her

“What’s is this Klaus”

Her leg lost all the strength and she wasn’t able to move them she remained there.

“WHAT IS THIS!!” she screamed but no one helped her

She felt drained as she saw the brother that she left this morning in such state,

There were blood all over his body and the cloths he wore this morning torn into rags as he laid helplessly on the ground.

Around him was a pool of blood whose owner was laying on, he wasn’t able to move as he just laid there with his eyes closed.

“Is he dead...” she asked furiously.

“You can go check”

She rushed towards her brother crawling on the ground and fell towards as she grabbed Tyler, her pale hands were stained with blood.

“Why, why!” She cried out as she carried her brother into her arms, although his breath was slow he was still alive.

At that moment Klaus went towards her and gently touched her face which was immediately rejected as she slapped away his hand.

In return she was slapped, she couldn’t even be shocked about it.

“Why did you approach me” she asked as she looked at him with hatred in her eyes and a huge bruise on her cheek.

“Laila don’t look at me like that” he said feeling scared. He kneeled Down “please don’t hate me I love you!”

Laila sneered at every word he said “this isn’t love”

“Of course it is, if he didn’t go around digging too deep he wouldn’t end up like this and nothing would change. He was trying to separate us!”

“I should have listened to him” she said.

Tyler stood up and smiled. “There’s plenty of time for us to talk Laila, you can have your last moment with him”

Tyler then took his soldiers away from the room and left.

“He’s gone brother” Laila said as she waited for him to open his eyes.

Tyler slowly opened one eye as his other eyes was swollen, he wasn’t able to talk as his vocal chords was broken and his hands were also fractured badly.

“What exactly did you find out that you ended up like this” Laila cried as she held her brother, he while his head saying she shouldn’t cry.

Before he died he was able to communicate with her through his lips.

What Klaus didn’t know was that whenever Laila got into trouble in the past and their father would question her and him they would communicate by reading each other’s lips.

“Vase, box, red candle” before he died.

Laila was left confused with these words as she remembered that Aria was supposed to come back around this time.

This time she gathered all her strength and rushed towards the front door where she saw Aria and Klaus.

“ARIA” Laila screamed from where she was, Aria looked confused to see her sister

“Sister I was just asking Klaus why the whole mansion was empty” Aria said not aware of what was happening.

“Stay away from him” Laila said tiredly as she signaled to her.

“Why was sister playing with red paint” Aria asked

Laila looked at her self, the dress that she put on that very morning to please Klaus was stained with blood all over from when she carried her brother.

She stared at the dress as her eyesight became blurry then she fainted.

Doesn’t know how many days has passed but Laila slowly opened her eyes to face her familiar room.

She looked around feeling drained and hazy, she quickly noticed the presence of people surrounding her.

Maybe it was around five? Maybe ten it didn’t matter she didn’t recognize any of them.

“Who are you” she asked but she was replied with stares shot at her, none of them moved and none talked.

“At least how long have I been in bed” she asked again as a last attempt for any conversation but that died before it started

After a while of complete silence she decided to move on her own although feeling very weak she was sure she could at least move.

But as she layer her feet on the soft carpet she fell almost instantly to the ground and landed in the carpet.

She wasn’t surprised as she fell no one helped her they just stood there staring at her “it’s getting creepy” she thought as she realized.

“I can’t feel my legs”

Laila suddenly stiffened and reached for her leg but couldn’t get any reaction from it and before she took any drastic measures.

“Sister”

She heard outside the door, that sounded exactly like Aria, she looked at the door and saw Aria bouncing into the room,

Aria stopped when she saw Laila laying on the ground and then looked at the maids who stood there doing nothing “ah the maids must have been too shy” Aria said giggling as she helped her sister up.

Aria is actually too normal didn’t she know what was happening? But there was something strange in her behavior too, she sat besides Laila for a few seconds but her smile she brought in was switched.

Suddenly a taller figure appeared, it was Klaus almost immediately Aria was smiling again and ran to meet Klaus “I told you I would find big sister” she said smiling.

“Was I seeing things” Laila thought

Klaus looks at Laila and went towards her

“You look better” he said smiling

“I thought u preferred me dead” Laila said with a sneer.

Klaus ignored this comment and looked around “I’ll renovate this place” he said “it’s too dull”

“This room? The room that I had spent all my memories with” Laila thought angrily “I don’t consent to that, and who do you think you are”

“I don’t need anyone’s consent Laila since the head of the house is gone I’ll assume the role” Klaus said still looking around as he looked back at me with a smile “of course it will be finalized when we marry”

“Had he always been like this” Laila thought as she stared daggers into he’s eyes.

“Last time I remembered the drug didn’t affect the voice” Klaus said wondering around.
