Something bizarre

With his plan meticulously outlined, Yanagi focused on executing it with precision. It was time finally to execute the plan that couldn’t the first time. He was prepared for the worst but he was aiming for the best. The list was too detailed to failed it. It would be a shame to fail while having such a plan and also the feeling and the bravery to execute it. He knew that the punishment will be hard but at the end of the day he finally did something that was out of the ordinary.

Yanagi needed to insert the USB to Asahi’s computer. But it would be impossible since it’s the daily shifts and everybody was near. He needed a good excuse or the perfect time to act. He put everything for this plan and now the burden between him and his success looks tall like a skyscraper built by cardboard. A small mistake and it is going to fall right to his head. He thought million scenarios, but everyone has the same results. Failure. Everything that could help him achieve that ends with him getting caught by someone. Not necessarily by Asahi, but from the surrounding people. Everybody has eyes. Everybody can see. Even innocently, someone can approach to ask about the USB and destroy his whole plan.

Yanagi approached Asahi’s computer while talking to him. It appeared to be easy to insert the USB to his computer since Asahi decided to leave an hour ago from the Laboratory, due some personal issues, as he mentioned.

After completing all the steps he is finally at the right time. All alone in the laboratory. He took out his tablet and with confidence pressed the button while hiding it under his desk.

The program successfully sent a distinctive frequency to the camera’s program and turned the off completely. That was the perfect moment for him to act.

Yanagi already planted the USB to Asahi’s computer. The program was running for 3 hours and it needed almost an hour to unlock his screen.

The only thing Yanagi had to do for now was to wait until the program corrupt the security and find the security code to unlock the system. Minute after minute, Yanagi’s anxiety was getting on the peak. Cold sweat was dripping from his face, he was feeling the pressure of the process. He didn’t expect to encounter mental difficulties instead of action ones.

And then a massage appeared on the screen.

The screen opened infront of his eyes. He was finally inside Asahi’s private files. He could search for anything. He had now full control over Asahi’s computer.

As he was searching for the thing he started this operation, he got carried away and searched other information and files that might be useful for him. Suddenly, with the core of his eyes saw a file that he found really suspicious.

Photos? Which scientist has a file names photos in his work computer. Especially someone, extremely unti-social and rude like him. So he clicked the file out of curiosity. Yanagi could believe in his eyes. The last thing that he could think that file has inside popped from it. Something so malicious and illegal such Yanagi’s “reasearch” plan.

Asahi had a whole research around Yanagi’s project. But, the thing was that it didn’t stopped there! He had also files that nobody except Yanagi know. He had the instructions for his AI brain and control systems. Maybe seems logic since he was working on robotic parts, but it was different. Asahi was also trying to make the perfect AI brain like him. He was following Asahi’s notes. But how did he got them? When?

Yanagi had million of questions around the situation. The most important one was when did he did that. He didn’t remember him getting near his laboratory not even his department space. That bizzare? All he can remember was Asahi closed to his office for the whole day. The only time he was out was just to leave for home, not even in the breaks. Yanagi felt a strong sense to search deep to his computer, maybe he will find something more dangerous than this. However, the time was pressing him. So he took what he needed and turn to his laboratory quickly before the camera turn on. Yanagi was now running to the hallway but the time was to sort to make it to his office.

“That’s not good,that’s not good” he was screaming inside his head as he was running back. But then, a great idea came to his mind. Yanagi changed his rout to the coffe area. Yanagi quickly took a cup and placed it underneath the coffee machine. He pressed quickly the button that says cappuccino and waited impatiently for the coffee machine to make the coffee. He checked quickly his phone.

Yanagi has feeling his heart beating faster than ever. He was feeling a very attractive tendency to pass out. But he hold his pieces together before was too late. The coffe machine finally made his coffee and then…

The program shut down and the cameras red button turned on. Now the cameras are looking at Yanagi with his hot coffee walking to the hallway returning back to his office. He shut down and fake work until the time reaches 12 in the night. After he successfully calmed himself down, he stood up with confidence and walk out of the building high-fiving the janitor.
