At Mikey’s Apartment

It has been almost a year since Draken and Mikey moved in together, and they could have not been happier. At first they struggled since their timeframe hasn’t matched up but soon they got the hang of it and they worked it out. Draken hasn’t told Mikey that he is part of a yakuza gang and Mikey hasn’t told her siblings that she is seeing someone more or less living with someone. And neither Mikey or Draken wanted their family to meet the other’s. That was until Mikey and Draken where watching a movie where there first step after moving in together happened.

“So when am I gonna meet your family Ken-chin?” Mikey asked all of a sudden.

Draken froze at the sudden question because they have never talked about meeting each other’s family before.

“When am I going to meet yours?” Draken asked.

“You can meet mine after I meet your first” Mikey exclaimed cutely.

“Why can’t I meet yours first?” Draken said.

“Because I asked first” Mikey said as if that explained everything.

“You don’t want to meet my family” Draken replied quickly.

“Yes I do!” Mikey said.

“No you don’t.” Draken said.

“Oh please Ken-chin can I meet them please?” Mikey asked with her puppy eyes.

“T-that is not going to work on me” Draken said but he was lying, he was trying so hard not to give in.

Eventually Mikey remained victorious as Draken soon gave in and agreed for Mikey to meet his “family”. Now his only problem was, how was he gonna work this out.

At Toman’s Hideout

Draken called Takemichi to ask him to schedule a meeting with the captains and vice captains to discuss something important. At first the others were confused on why they were called in for a meeting last second but didn’t wish to question their boss, so they just came in and waited for the last person to arrive. Once Draken arrived and took a seat, Takemichi said that Draken was the one who arranged this meeting for something important. The others looked around looking at each other to see if anyone knew what was going on, but everyone seemed confused. Draken took a breather before speaking to the others.

“I met someone very important to me, and me and her have been living together for almost a year now. During the night where were gonna make a truce with another gang, we were ambushed and during that fight I got shot. And when I did I was looking for someplace to hide out and I stumbled upon a flower shop where I met the most amazing woman I could ever meet. She took me in and patched me up, and proceeded to take care of me for almost a month before I got called to come back here. And when I came back because I thought that this was my home, I was wrong, this wasn’t my home anymore, she was. So that is why I left the hideout because I am living with her now, and I have been for almost a year and last week she asked when she could meet my family and I first I panicked because I haven’t told her that I work for a yakuza gang, but then she did this thing where I can’t say no to her, so I agreed. So I asked for this meeting because you guys are my family, and I want you guys to meet her, and I want her to meet you” Draken said looking down and messing with his hands out of nerves.

It was quiet for a minute before someone spoke.

“Well shit, she must damn important if you are doing all of this for her” Baji said teasingly to Draken.

“Yeah I have never seen you this nervous man” Pah-chin said chuckling.

“I can’t wait to meet this person who has our dear Draken wrapped around her finger” Mitsuya said smiling.

“Like is she hot or cute, so we know which one we’re dealing with” Smiley said.

“What if she’s both?” Angry asked next to his brother.

“Well we’re about to meet her aren’t we?” Takemichi and Draken.

“Yeah. She uh wants to make you guys dinner, and she said we can meet in her apartment next Saturday, if that’s okay with you guys?” Draken asked.

“That’s perfect, I think none of us are busy that day” Takemichi said asking the others.

The others shook their head in agreement.

“Okay then I’ll let her know. Thanks guys” Draken said smiling at his family.

After that they hung out for a while before going there own way home. And once Draken got home, he told Mikey the news and seeing Mikey smiling made all his worries go away for the night.

At Mikey’s Apartment

Saturday came by in a flash and let’s just say that Draken was worried. Before Saturday came Draken and the others discussed on how they met, where they work at, and all the things that would lead to them being in a yakuza gang. Even though they discussed everything and everyone knows what to say, Draken still couldn’t help but worry that something might go wrong. Anxiety was eating at him and this caught Mikey’s attention.

“Ken-chin are you okay” Mikey said grabbing Draken’s hand and caressing it, as a sign of comfort.

“O-oh yeah I’m fine just a-” Draken says before getting cut off.

“A little bit nervous” Mikey said chuckling.

“That obvious?” Draken asked also chuckling too.

“A little yeah” Mikey says smiling at him.

“We don’t have to do this if you are not comfortable with. I don’t want to pressure you” Mikey said to Draken, feeling slightly guilty for now asking to meet with his family and doing all of this.

“N-no I want you to meet really. I feel like you would really like them and that they would really like you too. I really want them to meet the most important person in my life, and I know that they would accept you, but I just hope that you would accept them” Draken says nervously.

“Of course I would Ken-chin they are your family and all I want is for them to accept me and for me to prove to them that I would take care of you for the rest of our lives, good or bad, I will love you no matter what Ken-chin” Mikey says looking at Draken lovingly.

“I love you so much Mikey” Draken said kissing Mikey.

“I love you too Ken-chin” Mikey said kissing back.

*Ding*

A ding can be heard from from Draken’s pocket. He goes to see a text message indicating that everyone is outside.

“Ready to meet my family?” Draken asked Mikey.

“Yes!” Mikey exclaimed cutely.

Draken left the apartment to go get them, and when he came back up with the others, they see Mikey waiting for them patiently. As everyone enters the apartment, they see Mikey walking up to them.

“Hello my name is Mikey” Mikey said reaching a hand out to them.
