Jeongguk tries his best to stay calm for the rest of the evening, already mentally preparing for the probably incoming digital wave of reactions on twitter when he is going to check later. He really can't wait any longer. After this night, he is not even sure about his own reactions anymore, so he would LOVE to get some help on figuring this out.

When he logs onto Twitter he doesn't have to worry about anything. It's his safe space, where nobody can judge him or his thoughts. Therefore when he created the account, the name for it was pretty clear from the beginning: @goldencloset

He felt it was fitting for his disguised self as it was something he as a person could relate to, since he was basically living in a closet (which the fans knew) and was also called golden maknae. It was also really fitting for him as taekook shipper, since a closet in this context could be viewed as something that should be kept behind closed doors.

Ironically, this name was shaped by himself not too much later, when he chose this name for his new studio. It was a name that provided him with solace and security, so he felt it was a waste to just use this name for his disguised self. Nobody would notice anyway, since fans always name their accounts after iconic bts phrases. Also, he didn't have too many followers at that time, so in fact, only one person even mentioned the coincidence.

Luckily, the night ends without any further occurrences and they arrive back at their flat. It's only 11 pm, but Jeongguk wanders straight to his bedroom, jumping out of his jeans into a comfy pair of sweatpants. 'Yaaass, Twitter, here I come!', his inner voice screams, albeit nervous. He decides to settle himself into his office chair, opening the website on his pc, because yeah, 'this is serious business y'all. '

As expected, the moment after he logs into his account he get's flooded with notifications from previous post, before all this mess started. What he didn't expect though, was that not only his post, but also that infamous comment from the other day blew up.

'So they noticed after all', he sighs, thinking back to the conversation from the morning, followed by Taehyung's revenge.

So, without further ado, he hustles to create a new post, violently typing his whole build up confusion into one small post

//Okay guys, seriously. Can someone PLEASE explain me WTH? IS HAPPENING?? I mean, seriously, all ships aside. What the **** is this tension between taekook lately?? Last week and today too. Jeongguk feels a little bit better now, putting his thoughts out in the wild, but he is still anxious about the replies. While he is waiting for them, he decides to go back to his timeline and check what he missed during his hiatus this week. The first few posts that show up are - of course - about tonight. He is hesitant about watching the fancam, since he instantly feels his chest tightening at the familiar setting. Eventually, his curiosity takes over and he clicks on the video anyway.

Loud music with even louder screams fill the room, causing the boy to jump, lowering the volume of his speakers. The video is a little bit blurred, but enough for Jeongguk to recognize himself waving at the filming fans, before he turns back to face an approaching Taehyung. He can clearly make out the intense stare directed towards him - which again, sends shivers down his spine - , before his chin get's tickled and the culprit moves on to sits down next to Hobi.

The whole clip isn't longer than 10 seconds, but even now, for Jeongguk this moment felt like 5 minutes. Also, only after replaying the clip he can see his own shocked face when Taehyung was leaning in. It's barely visible, since it's filmed diagonally from the back, but that's enough for him. Also, Armys' captions saying things like 'Jungkook screams panicked gay, pls someone help him!' or 'I'd be Jungshook too if Tae would look at me like this', confirm that apparently they saw it too.

As he receives his first few notifications, he instantly goes back to his post, heart beating nervously.

//Ooh welcome back! I thought taekook killed you for real now haha. Kinda missed you//, a loyal follower commented, making Jeongguk smile and remember that a week really IS a long time on twitter and replies, //thanks bud, I was really busy//, before he keeps reading. //to make it short: Tae is the gay in love and JK the panicked gay.//, thanks, that's what he already read like a 100 times. 'But Tae is not in love. Panicked is probably true though.', he shrugged his shoulders in acknowledgement.

The third and until now the last 'useful' comment, that is not saying something like //IKR??// comes from a girl with the username @tkaesthetics whom he followed back a while ago. The simple reason was that she seemed to be one of those taekook-stans who like to stay rational and always put BTS' friendship first and ships second. Also, she's not afraid to talk her mind and say if people are going overboard, so Jeongguk was lowkey anticipating her judgement,

//Same here, I was super confused when I saw Tae's nervous reaction last week. At first I thought they had a fight, but it was really just Tae acting like this and after seeing people digging up other clips of that same - but weaker - behaviour, I was really surprised. Like he might really like JK and that idiot doesn't even notice. BUT, I guess he got what's going now, going by his reaction from today haha TAEKOOK NATION RIISE//, and there his high hopes vanish like this. He really thought that she might think differently about this.

He decides to answer anyway, he won't just swallow it like this, //Do you really think so? I mean, Tae could've just been upset or simply not comfortable with fanservice anymore?//, he posts and waits not too long for an answer,

//Well, I wasn't on twt the past few days, so I guess I did..// Jeongguk replies, still not really believing this whole thing. He shouldn't have consulted Twitter in the first place, especially because most of his followers are hardcore taekook shippers, who are easily fooled and would read something romantic into everything. Frustrated, he is about to close the app, deciding to just ignore the whole thing for his own good. Maybe he should officially put his account on hiatus, he thinks, refreshing the page one more time as the girl's answer get's displayed.

//Okay, let me fill you in. After you posted that one video, everyone kind of got aware of Taehyungs behaviour and tried to explain it in various ways. Most of us came to the conclusion that he must have come to like Kookie. Why? BECAUSE first, he doesn't care about fanservice with other members, so it's not about that. Second, a fight is unlikely, because they act normal most of the time. It's just when JK get's too flirty that he get's flustered. Third, he still initiates fanservice on his own, he wouldn't do that if he were upset. And finally, it must be Tae liking him and not the other way around, because only he is acting suspiciously (well, until after today obviously)//, Jeongguk reads the post a few times over and over. This just can't be true.

'But she has a point.', he acknowledged, falling back into his seat. His mind went blank, before one sentence makes it into the void of his brain,

'Maybe he really likes me.'
