I sat back on the chair, stretching my shoulder and relaxing my arms against the glass table. I really want to see her. Her smile, her laughter, her bickering, her craziness.
She is far away from me. However, I can feel her breathing the same air as I breathe, looking at the same moon as I did. I touched the metallic ring around my neck. Winter is there, the ring feels cold on my skin. Still, I felt a warmth around my neck. It is the warmth she provides me.
She is the drop to my rain. She is the light to my sun. She is the flakes to my snow. She is oxygen to my life. She is the soul to my body.
Likewise, she is a relief to my pain. She is the cure to my disease.
