Arsenio, a handsome 27-year-old man, tried to sit up, stretching his achy muscles as he attempted to remain still while conversing with the woman who claimed to be his wife.
Yes, Arsenio Reymond had indeed experienced a coma due to an accident he had been in. However, the man had woken up from his coma a week ago. Yet, for some reason, he had decided to pretend that he was still in a coma. Especially with his paralysis, the man became even more unwilling to wake up.
"Damn it! Why did Mama have to marry me off to a girl I don't even know? And what did that woman say? She was sold? What kind of parents would sell their own child?" Arsenio began to monologue.
"Now that it's like this, it means I won't be free to wake up anymore. My body might become stiff if she stays in this room for too long. Dammit!" Arsenio started to grumble. It was clear that the man was truly annoyed now.
From the direction of the bathroom, the doorknob suddenly moved. It meant that the woman inside would come out. Arsenio quickly hurried to lie back down.
And indeed, the woman who was none other than Aozora appeared, covered only by a towel that wrapped around her body. Casual as ever, she walked towards her luggage to retrieve the clothes she would wear.
Unbeknownst to Aozora, Arsenio opened his eyes and glanced at her. He was genuinely curious about the face of the woman who claimed to be his wife.
But instead of being able to see Aozora's face, Arsenio was greeted with the sight of her smooth back and the visible curves of her thighs, as she was currently squatting down, causing the towel to lift slightly.
"Oh, shit! What is this view? Why doesn't she dress in the bathroom?" Arsenio began to curse.
"Is she doing this on purpose or what? Is she unaware that there's a man in this room?" Once again, Arsenio grumbled inwardly.
"Damn it, why am I being so stupid? Yes, I am in this room, but as far as she knows, I'm still in a coma." Arsenio cursed his own foolishness.
On the other hand, Aozora, who had finished grabbing the clothes she would wear, dropped her towel to the floor, causing Arsenio to quickly close his eyes again. However, out of curiosity or perhaps due to a man's instinct, Arsenio still peeked and saw something underneath that had been soundly asleep, stirring awake.
"Damn it, it woke up again. How do I cover it?" Arsenio started to panic. "If this continues, I'll be tormented over and over. Bastard!" Arsenio cursed, imagining that these kinds of incidents would continue if he pretended to be comatose.
Meanwhile, Aozora had finished dressing. She closed her luggage and placed it near the wall.
"I'll organize it in the wardrobe later. I'm so tired, I want to rest," murmured Aozora, then turned to look at the bed.
"What's that protruding thing?" Aozora mumbled with wide eyes, staring at the object between Arsenio's thighs.
"Damn it, she's looking again!" Arsenio cursed inwardly because he had heard what Aozora said.
Reflexively, Aozora crossed her arms to cover her chest. "D-Did he see me dressing earlier?" Aozora said again.
"But, it's not possible, right? He's still in a coma, after all. So he couldn't have seen it. But why is it bulging like that? And it's so big, eww," Aozora asked herself, but she answered herself.
"Damn it, how could she talk about my 'little brother' in front of me like that? What did she mean by big, a compliment or an insult? Probably a compliment, right? Yeah, of course, since it's still covered, she was already shocked just by that. She hasn't even seen the real thing yet," Arsenio began to boast to himself.
The scent of soap became more noticeable to Arsenio's nose, which meant that Aozora was standing close to him. True enough, when Arsenio tried to peek, the woman's face was right above his most sacred possession, especially the long-barreled weapon that was now wriggling daringly. Arsenio could clearly see that the woman's nose was almost touching the object.
"Oh shit, what is she doing?" Arsenio muttered.
"But she seems beautiful," unconsciously praised Arsenio, as he couldn't see the woman's face clearly yet.
"I'll hold it, it's probably fine, right? She doesn't know about this. I'm just curious," Aozora mumbled, clearly audible to Arsenio.
"Oh no, please don't touch it!" Arsenio pleaded silently.
Meanwhile, Aozora blinked her eyes playfully. With trembling hands and while biting her lip, she raised her hand to touch the object that made her so curious. However, before her hand could land on it, her phone suddenly rang, indicating an incoming message. Unbeknownst to Aozora, Arsenio let out a sigh of relief.
Aozora immediately abandoned her intention and walked towards the nightstand, where she had placed her phone.
"Is it a message from Tsania?" Aozora wondered with a frown.
Aozora quickly opened the message from Tsania.
"Look, Dimas loves me so much. He doesn't want to let me go," Tsania sent a photo of herself being intimate with Dimas, the man who was almost about to become her husband.
"Damn!" Aozora cursed, piquing Arsenio's curiosity. "Why is she cursing? What did she read on her phone?" Arsenio thought.
"Oops, I accidentally pressed it! Sorry, I did it on purpose. You've probably never been treated like this by Dimas, right? Of course not, because according to Dimas, you pretend to be so pure and boring," Tsania sent another message to her. It seems her sister deliberately did it to provoke her.
"Yes, of course. I am expensive, not like you who is cheap. Usually, what is cheap is liked, but the quality is poor, so it doesn't take long before it gets thrown away," Aozora finally decided to reply to the message.
"Damn, be careful!" Tsania replied to her sister's message.
"Sure, don't worry. I will keep an eye on him!" Aozora refused to back down.
"Hahaha, you say you're expensive. Expensive, but what's the point if it's only for paying off daddy's debts? Already paid off the debt, then got married to a crippled man. Pitiful, your life is just serving a cripple. Expensive food!" Tsania sent another mocking message.
"You're destined to live in misery. Mama was cheated on, died of stress, and now the company she inherited has fallen into my hands. I should feel sorry for you because you're my sister, but I don't know why I can't feel sorry. Instead, I'm happy to see your misfortune!" Tsania sent another message, and this time it was truly painful.
"Watch your words! Don't bring up mama! She's too good to be mentioned by your filthy mouth. Oh well, for now, you can be proud, but I will make sure that mama's company will go back to the rightful hands. Just wait and see, because I won't stay silent!" Aozora replied, then chose to block her sister's number.
Aozora then climbed onto the bed and lay down next to Arsenio. "Mom, why did you leave me so soon? Look, I have no one now. Even dad doesn't love me. Mom, you're happy there, but why did you go alone, why didn't you take me with you? I just want to go with you!" Aozora uttered while starting to cry. She cried until she sobbed, making the man lying next to her even more curious about what was making her cry.
"No, I can't be weak. I have to be strong, and I will make sure that I will destroy all of you!" Aozora whispered while wiping her tears, her gaze full of fiery vengeance.
However, the woman began crying again as memories of her father's mistreatment resurfaced in her mind. Aozora cried for quite some time, until she was so exhausted that she fell asleep unconsciously.
Sensing that the woman's breathing next to him had become regular, Arsenio opened his eyes again. He turned to look at Aozora, and for the first time, the man could clearly see the face of the woman who had become his wife, as Aozora happened to be facing towards him.
"Beautiful," those were the first words that escaped Arsenio's mouth when he saw Aozora's face.
