Chapter 7: Stop or be ready to die.

It's been more more than two weeks since died. Everyone were told that she died because of drug overdose and fell off the building on her own.

"Boss, Chris is going out of the country. Should we finish off his chapter there?", a man said on the other line of the call. "No. He will die only when I want him to. I will kill him", Kiara said sternly.

"Make him feel bothered slowly. Make his brothels shut down one by one", Kiara ordered and then hung up the call.

How can I kill you so easily when you gave me so much pain?! You will die slowly and painfully. Keep guessing who you messed up with. Kiara said to herself and gave a cold look.

"Jade, get me a cup of black coffee", Kiara said on the intercom then continued with her work. Jade came in after some times and gave the coffee to Kiara.

Kiara sipped on her coffee while working. Suddenly, her memories came into her mind.

Flashback

"Dad, please don't beat me. I will make coffee for you and Ms. Lopez", seven year old Kiara said with tearful eyes. Danny, Kiara's father, threw a slap across her face leading her to fall on the floor.

"You dared to talk back at her? You live here with me. You slut, you've to listen to her. She is the mistress of the house", Danny yelled at Kiara who was crying as she rolled into a ball while her father kicked her.

Kiara sniffled and went to the kitchen. The maids pitied her but not a single one tried to help her while she burnt herself while preparing the coffee. Somehow she made two cup of coffee and took them out.

Ms. Lopez threw the coffee on Kiara scalding her arm. Kiara hissed in pain and turned to her father who spat the coffee on the floor. "Do you want to kill us?", Ms. Lopez yelled.

Kiara made coffee three times and finally her father and Ms. Lopez were satisfied with the taste. Kiara quietly went back to her and applied some ointment on her burns while she sobbed silently in the corner.

Every time a new mistress came, they all oppressed the little Kiara along with her father.

One night, her father beat her brutally. She was only nine that time. "Why don't you kill me? Why torture me?", Kiara asked as she cried while her body was all bruised with the wounds of whip and belt.

Danny squatted down and grabbed her hairs roughly making her yelp in pain. She held his wrist and cried but he didn't let go. She begged him but he didn't let go and threw a harsh slap hard across her face.

"You wh*re of a mother left you to me so it's your responsibility to take on her beatings on her behalf. You are her daughter, you are a slut", Danny said with gritted teeth.

"I'm your daughter as well", she managed to say it slowly. He immediately grabbed her throat making her choke. "You are just a slut. A wh*re. Don't you dare talk back at me again", he glared at her and pushed her against the wall.

Danny walked out leaving Kiara crying and bleeding. She rolled up into a ball and cried the whole night.

The ring of the mobile pulled Kiara out of her thoughts. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in and let it out calming herself. She picked the call and composed her cold demeanor.

"What?", she asked coldly. "Queen, we have shut down one of the brothels", a man on the other side informed. "Okay, keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't have a relaxed day", Kiara said and hung up.

She leaned back on the chair and closed her eyes then opened them to look at the black coffee on the table. "Will I ever not think of those past looking at the coffee?", she asked to herself and sighed.

"Jade, buy the shares of Stone Inc. for me and sell them at the lower price to the market. I want it to be done by today", Kiara said on the intercom and hung up.

Stone Incorporation belongs to one of her closest friend from the past. He is good for nothing except for playing around so she is just helping him shut down his business before he himself does it.

In the evening, Kiara went back home and got ready since there was a business party she had to attend. She took a shower and got ready then left. The party was in a seven star hotel.

Wearing a lacy champagne spaghetti strap deep v neck criss cross open back mermaid gown, she looked beautiful and hot. There was deep thigh slit on the right side showing off her beautiful slender leg. She paired the gown with champagne ankle strap high heels.

Her wavy hairs were let down. Her makeup included eye liner, mascara to highlight her long lashes and beautiful eyes and peach color lips with some light blush giving her an elegant look. The aura around her was full of power and dominance.

As she walked inside, all the photographers clicked her pictures continuously. She walked inside with a cold face without giving any smile to anyone yet no one dared comment on her, well aware of her authority.

As she entered, all the business associates gathered around her to either get a glance of her and to get close to her for business. She kept her cold poker face showing no emotion.

"Ms. Davis, may I have the pleasure to dance with you?", a young man came forward and asked her in a flirtatious tone. Everyone around started sweating worrying about the man's fate.

Sure enough, everyone knew how much she hates people who play around. The man was new in the business world so he wasn't much aware of her temper that's the reason he dared to ask her.

"You are?", Kiara raised a brow. "Liam Harris", he smirked. "Seems like Harris Corps is ready to be shut down with a CEO like you or you were waiting for me to shut it for you? I don't go easy though", she said coldly and turned to leave.

"How arrogant! Just because you're hot and rich doesn't mean you can go around saying that to people", Liam said in a mocking tone. She immediately turned to him and raised a brow.

"Liam Harris, I'd like to say one thing to you. When your house is made up of glass, you shouldn't throw stones at others. You are the one who plays around with girls not the other way around. Do you think I'm not aware of the things you do? Or you wanted me to tell everyone on behalf of you?", she said calmly.

Kiara kept stating about his personal life and family life that embarrassed him to the point where couldn't even make a comeback and mock her. She was right. She had a clean background without any character less works.

"If you still have any self dignity, you wouldn't stand here", she said and walked away from there. Everyone were impressed and amazed by her calm demeanor. Everything she says is relevant and leaves her enemy at the bottom.

After that no one dared ask anything unrelated to business. She sipped on her champagne and talked to a businessman in his thrities. He was professional and talked properly without flirting with her.

"Ms. Davis, it was nice talking to you. You sure deserve to be on top", the man said with a smile while on the inside he was nervous thinking if he said anything wrong because Kiara's face was blank as a sheet of paper without a sign of emotion.

She simply gave a nod and took a sip of champagne. The man sighed when she didn't speak anything. Sometimes it was better for her to be quiet rather than saying anything as it would save the person in front of her.

"Ms. Davis, my company is working on a new project and it will give a great profit. I was hoping if you...", a man around the same age as her said but stopped once she looked at him. He gulped.

"I'd like to see if the project has the capability to impress me", Kiara said with a deeper meaning. It was clear she wasn't interested in doing business with the man because getting her appointment was like once in a blue moon and if after getting an appointment she is not impressed then you are doomed.

Kiara went to the washroom and leaned on the basin. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed deeply. There were two women talking about something but immediately stopped seeing Kiara and left.

Suddenly, the door opened but no one came or maybe came. Kiara didn't bother to look as she was never interested in knowing about anyone. She attends these parties all because she wants to pass her time.

She hates living around too many people because she keeps thinking that someone might attack her anytime. It's not that she is afraid of death but she wants to live until she is done with her revenge.

If she has to die, she will take all those bastards with her too.

Also, she hates talking much. She is a woman of a few words. More like one word. She won't say a word unless she is provoked like you all saw about that guy.

"Is my babe tired?", someone whispered. Kiara immediately slipped our her dagger which was attached to her thigh with a band along with a small gun hidden inside the gown.

She turned around to attack the person but he held her wrist. Adrian smirked while she coldly stared at him. "Why are you in a ladies restroom?", she asked with narrowed eyes.

"To see you, of course, my Queen", he said with a smirk. "You better stop or be ready to die", she glared at him. He smiled and leaned down to her. "You won't kill me unless you wanna be a widow."

"Ew. Your widow? Never. I'd die than be your wife", she said in a disgusted manner. "Of course, you will be my wifey. My little domineering wifey", he said pinching her nose to which she glared at him coldly.

"Ah! How cute! I'm dying because of your sweetness, baby", he held onto the left side of his chest and acted to die. She frowned and thought if he had gone crazy or what?

Suddenly, they heard some voice outside. Adrian immediately pushed her inside one of the cubicle placing his palm on her mouth covering it. She tried to struggle but in vain.

She even stabbed him on his arm but it didn't affect him much because he just yelped a little bit. He locked the door from inside still covering her mouth.

She groaned asking him to removed his hand away which he did while staring at her for the whole time.
