"Turns out, I was wrong, Uncle. I underestimated you," Sander said as he walked closer. He put his hands in his pockets, while a few buttons of his shirt were left undone. Perhaps, before arriving at that place, he had experienced something chaotic.
"Are you angry? Disappointed?" Riu asked.
Sander shook his head while exhaling a long breath, "I don't know."
"Just get angry if you want to, I won't stop you."
Sander roughly wiped his face, then looked down with half-closed eyes.
"I don't know what to do, Uncle. I want to be angry, but they were the ones who were wrong. I want to be disappointed, but their actions went too far. But I want to act normal because they are my parents. Maybe... I am the one who is most wrong, Uncle, for not being able to remind them properly," he said. Whether it was just flattery or expressing his true feelings, only God and Sander himself knew.
"You don't need to blame yourself because it doesn't change anything," Riu replied flatly.
"But, I also don't know what to do, Uncle. I..."
"I can't give you guidance either. And you shouldn't listen to anything I say. Isn't that right?" Riu concluded, making Sander feel embarrassed and nervous instantly.
"I understand, Uncle. Excuse me." With a sour smile, Sander turned around and left Riu.
After the man's body disappeared from view, Baron started speaking.
"Do we need to do anything else, Sir?"
"No. Just keep an eye on what he does in this city."
"Very well, Sir." Baron nodded respectfully and then helped Riu get into the car.

The sun was almost setting on the western horizon, leaving behind a beautiful orange glow among the towering buildings. The wind joined in, adding to the charm. Its gentle breeze brought a melodic rustle among the branches and leaves.
Unfortunately, the handsome man named Sander Hanz didn't appreciate the beauty of the evening.
With a wrinkled and messy shirt, he walked leisurely along the sidewalk. His body was there, but his wandering mind had no direction. Sometimes it was focused on his parents, sometimes on his grandfather, and not forgetting his uncle.
In truth, Sander longed for a harmonious relationship within his extended family. However, it seemed like an endless hope. After his parents and his uncle had been at odds for so long, it had finally exploded now.
Riu, the uncle who was considered weak and most pitiful, had easily turned the situation around. Sander wasn't sure whom to side with—his clearly guilty parents or his uncle with his unknown mysteries.
"Don't know what will become of this family," Sander thought, accompanied by heavy breaths, as heavy as the burden he was carrying right now.
In the midst of the chaos in his heart, Sander's phone suddenly rang loudly. He lazily picked it up, and his laziness grew when he saw who was calling—Kelvin. Without much thought, he already knew what his cousin would say.
"We need to take action. Don't let that disabled man take everything."
Indeed. Once connected, Sander could hear the cunning ambition in Kelvin's voice.
Without giving a single-word response, Sander immediately ended the call. Then he put his phone back on silent mode. He didn't want to be disturbed right now.
"He is___" Sander thought\, when his eyes caught sight of an object in front of him—a beautiful woman in a shirt and a tight skirt\, walking out of a restaurant.
"Vale," Sander murmured with a slight smile. Then, he felt light on his feet as he headed towards Vale.
"Hey, we meet again." Sander greeted cheerfully. Only Vale had the power to make him smile, even in chaos.
"You?" Vale replied without a smile. Her expression seemed cold and flat. Strangely, Sander liked it.
"Let's talk for a bit!" Sander invited shamelessly.
Vale shook her head slowly, "Sorry, I'm in a rush."
"Just a moment. I'm having a lot of problems and need someone to talk to. But, I don't know who to go to. I haven't been living in this city for long, so I don't have any close friends." Sander pleaded, hoping that Vale would be there for him.
"And we're not close friends." Vale's response this time came across as curt.
"But___"
"I'm already married. Please behave yourself." Vale cut off Sander's words while showing him the back of her hand. There, her wedding ring with Riu was beautifully wrapped around her ring finger.
Seeing that, Sander immediately panicked. Apparently, he had been oblivious yesterday and didn't know about the ring. He had already hoped for something, only for it to be shattered just like that. Ahh, why was the world so cruel today?
"Who is the lucky man?" Instead of leaving Vale and walking away, Sander asked for more details. Wasn't he afraid that Vale's answer would only add to his disappointment?
"We're not that close. So, you don't need to know who my husband is," Vale replied as she turned around and headed towards her car, leaving Sander still frozen in place. He didn't expect that the woman he longed for was already held by another man.
"I'm curious about who that man is. Vale... if he's not worthy of you, I don't mind being the third party in your marriage," Sander thought to himself.
He was too focused on his own feelings, oblivious to the fact that there was someone in the distance watching them, even taking a few photos of him and Vale.
