"You were also involved in this matter. Do you think I'm stupid enough to let you go so easily?" Riu casually replied.
Jordi's eyes widened, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he took deep breaths.
"You will receive a fair punishment, just like those involved. So, don't dream big anymore. In the next few years, you won't leave this place," Riu continued.
"You can't do that, sir. You promised to set me free if I dared to testify against their crimes. I also promised to always be loyal to you. So, how can you let me be imprisoned?" Jordi protested. He began to panic as it seemed he had fallen into Riu's trap.
"Don't talk about promises and loyalty; you have neither. Because if you did, you wouldn't have betrayed Mama Dilara. As a confidant, you should have protected Mama's assets. Instead, you let Papa take control of everything and hid it from me. If you had loyalty, you wouldn't have sided with Annisa to harm me. Jordi... people like you will forever be mere flatterers and betrayers. And I... despise people like you." Riu's voice sounded cold, matching her piercing gaze.
"You betrayed me?" Jordi growled. No longer using the polite 'you' due to his anger.
"To repay a betrayer like you, what is more fitting than betrayal?" Riu raised both her eyebrows.

"I took advantage of you before you took advantage of me. Because that's usually how you are, right?" Riu interrupted.

"What did you do to my parents?" There was no kindness in his question, only a high and emotional tone.
"They got what they deserved," Riu casually replied.
"That's impossible! This must be some kind of trick from you. You deliberately slandered them for your own benefit. Isn't that right?" Kelvin shouted.
"It's up to you what you want to believe. Because your trust is not important to me."
"Just wait and see. I will take everything from you!" Kelvin said. In this case, it wasn't just about wealth.
Riu understood where Kelvin's conversation was heading. Especially if Vale, his wife, was involved, the one he would chase after for love.
"Don't get your hopes up too high, because what you have let go will never come back."
"Nonsense!" After replying like that, Kelvin immediately left, leaving Riu. He thought it was impossible for Vale to continue to support his uncle because of his permanent disability. As long as his wife was normal, it was impossible for her to tolerate it, right?
