Chapter 1

"Where am I?", I asked, finding myself lying in a dark room.

Footsteps were approaching the room I was in.

"I..is anyone there?", I stuttered in fear, as the door was being opened.

„You are finally awake", a somewhat familiar voice said calmly, while walking into the room. »It can't be. He passed away a few years ago«, I thought to myself and without realising it, I spoke. "Is that really you, Alex", as soon as I said those words, I immediately covered my mouth.

„If you want that to be my name, I would gladly change it for you, beautiful", he said, turning on the lights. I wondered to myself, »What is he talking about? Did he kidnap me?«.

As soon as the lights were on I closed my eyes, since they weren't used to the light after being in the dark for to long.

Slowly opening my eyes, getting them used to the lights, but instead there was a face close to mine startling me. Making me move back, while blushing a little bit.

„W..what are you doing", I yelled flustered.

„I was just admiring your beautiful face", he replied with a calming voice and smile, which surprisingly calmed me down.

He got up and was looking down towards me.

„I will stop for now", he said reaching his hands towards me.

Now that I got a better look at him, he doesn't look to bad, flawless skin, which looked a bit pale, a somewhat masculine body and a good looking face, dressed in all black and sunglasses hanging on the collar of his shirt.

Without thinking for to long I stretched one of my hands towards him and he helped me up.

Before I knew anything else, he started running, while holding my wrist.

„Hey, what are you doing", I yelled. He did not say anything and kept running. »Is he ignoring me, now«, was the thing that came to my mind.

I decided to just follow him.

He kept running and dragging me with him. I hadn't known what was going on.

»Are you finally going to let go of me«, I thought to myself, when he suddenly stopped running and brought me into a small shop.

„I think we are far away enough. They won't be able to find us here", he mumbled to himself, but I was still able to hear him clearly.

I started asking him questions like: Why did you bring me here?, Who are we running away from?, What's your name?, and many more.

„One question at the time", he said followed by a short pause as he continued his sentence, „I have enough time to reply to your questions, so don't rush".

Before I could say anything a group of three people appeared bowing on the floor, they all said „Welcome back young master" at the same time. All I could do was stand there in confusion, until one of them spoke up, saying „Who may she be, young master?"

„She is my soon to be wife..". „Huh!", I blurted out in shock, cutting him off, „What is that supposed to mean?, When did I agree to such an absurd thing?", I asked in disbelief.

It was as if he ignored me as he continued talking. „We need to take her back to the castle", he continued. As he was done talking with the three man he turned towards me saying: „I will explain more ones we are at the castle."

The three people looked at each other as if they were communicating with their eyes, before they signalled us to follow them.
