CHAPTER FIVE

Daniel held Aria's waist gently and tilted her chin to meet his gaze. Their eyes locked, and a flicker of intensity passed between them. Aria's heart raced, unsure of what Daniel had in mind.

With a tender touch, Daniel brushed his lips against Aria's, savoring the sweetness of the moment. It was a gentle, innocent kiss that conveyed his growing affection and concern for her. Aria felt a mixture of surprise and warmth, melting into the softness of the gesture.

He played with her tongue and suck it between his lips while making a eye contact with her. She was closing her eyes and eyelashes was wet and her breath was very low.

But out of the blue, She insteadly push him and land a harsh slap on his right cheek.

Daniel, taken aback by the slap, felt a mix of emotions. His face stung from the impact, but seeing Aria in tears caused a shift within him. He had crossed a line, and he realized his actions had caused her pain. His dominant and aggressive demeanor softened as he looked at her with remorse.

"Please, just don't hurt me," she pleaded softly, her voice filled with vulnerability. "I've been through so much already. I don't think I can handle any more pain."

Daniel's grip tightened around her, as if to offer her protection. "I promise you, Aria," he said sincerely, "I won't hurt you. I'll do whatever it takes to make it right. Just give me a chance to prove that I can change."
