Him again!??

Andrea's POV:

After all the activities and the tiring project, I just wanted to finish quickly my dinner and then crash into my lovely bed! Speaking of sleep, I am a bit afraid whether I will encounter that man again or not... Even though I deny it, but deep in my heart, I know that he was real. How did he even came into my house? Does he know me? Is he some sort of supernatural being? A magician? Demon?.... What the hell is he?!

All these questions were being swirling inside my head like a freaking tornado, it came to an abrupt stop when I realized that I have already reached my house, and I'm simply standing at my doorstep like a creep. I just facepalmed at myself. My overthinking is really getting weirder day by day...

After freshening up and completing my studies, I came down for dinner. I could already smell the sweet aroma of the dishes prepared by my mother. Without wasting time, I plopped myself on the chair near the dining table. "Oh my! You startled me, Annie! I didn't even hear your footsteps..." my mother said while serving me dinner "Anyway, how was your day? Did you and your friends finished your presentation?" she asked while sliding me a plate of fried rice and curry "I know these are your favorite, now dig in before it gets cold!" I immediately started eating without wasting a second like a hungry puppy. My dad who was surprisingly quiet the whole time just chuckled at my antics.

After finishing the dinner, as I was about to go back to my room, "Andrea wait a minute. We have to discuss something with you" my father said with a slight tone of seriousness laced in his voice. "Okay dad, what do you want to discuss?" I asked a bit nervously. Oh God, did I do something wrong again...? I swear I apologized dude in the school after beating him up... Don't judge me so quickly! He was the one who started to bully me first, so I taught him a little lesson. My thoughts were cut off by my dad clearing his throat.

"Annie, your mother and I are going on a business trip. I'm sorry my dear daughter for informing this now. We're going France. This trip might be longer than the previous ones. So will you be able to take care of yourself till then?"

The word which surprised me the most was 'France'... Usually they only have business trips for 2-3 days, and also to the countries in Asia. The only European countries which they visited till now are Brazil and Germany..." This trip is for about two months... are you sure you can stay by yourself till then?" my dad asked.

Seriously? What the hell are they going to do that long there? Judging from the days, it must be a big deal... So I mustered up a smile and said "It's okay dad, don't worry about me. I'm almost an adult now, and can take care of myself. If I feel alone, I can simply talk with my friends. So please don't worry about me!"

Hearing my response, my mom released a sigh of relief "That's good to hear. If you need anything just call your aunt. I have already informed her about everything." "Don't worry mom, I will." I said with a reassuring smile.

After all the discussions, I went back to my room. It was still early, so I decided to write on my diary. As I was in the middle of writing, I saw a dark silhouette moving unnaturally fast from the corner of my eye… And this little movement was enough to make me stop whatever the fuck I was doing and get on my self defense mode.

Now now, what the actual heck was that?! I swear if my tired mind is playing tricks on me again! Or, what if it's that hooded man?! I bet he's trying to scare me by doing this. I went to my desk and grabbed my baseball bat.

A slight shiver ran down my spine when I heard a deep masculine snicker from behind. I immediately turned around only to meet with a pair of golden cat like eyes... Started, I let out a small yelp and immediately swung my bat without thinking anything, towards the person standing in front of me. Should I even refer it as a person? Before the bat could ever touch him, he disappeared in a black smoke. I just simply simply stood in my place, stunned.
