Chapter 3. The Elf Family

It was getting dark, the stars were now visible at the sky, the sun was setting. Now that Yuji decided to go with them, They had a long way to go to. While he wondered, [How come this elf has the same name as I do? Isn't this a different world with different language? My name Is Yuji Minamoto, On earth 'Yuji' meant "To Rule" in Japanese and 'Minamoto' meant "Origin" as a surname, but I don't know what 'Yuji' means here... Probably something useless.] and with that Yuji ends his thoughts.

First, they crossed the river, then the Forest, they climbed up the hill, then followed a route which lead to the other side of the hill, the forest was huge. Then finally, he saw a light down between the woods. "We are nearly here." the lady said,

[What was her name again? Yu-Yuko? Yuro? They had same names, can't remember.] While the lady and the man walked forward, Yuji noticed something- [They look more like family, are they lovers?or Siblings?] the thought came across his mind.

"What happened Yuji?", little Yumi said.

"Oh! It's nothing in particular, hehe..." Yuji laughed awkwardly.

"Really? Cause you're acting kind of Strange." The man said, "Tell me! I'll help you figure out."

"Err.."

"Oh Come On! You can share anything, We are family afterall!"

[Family?] he made a confused face.

"What is it JiJi?"

[Hmm...family, Come to think of it, Are my parents looking for me right now? Are they even worried about what happened to me? I kinda want to see their reaction.] his face dropped.

"What's with the long face? We are nearly Home! Look!" the lady pointed to the light coming out from the window, "Tell me, What's bothering you? You know your, stubborn and all on your own, doesn't listen to anybody but, Mama's been worried about You...and so do We, We are family! Not some strangers, Don't have to hide anything for us, even if you thing it's none of Our business but it IS our responsibility, to care for you... Cause This is what family do, Right?" She gently grabbed his shoulders and gave it a little squeeze.

[What are these words? This feeling? I don't understand them], suddenly his eyes were filled with tears like ocean, he started crying.

"Hey, Hey! A-are you crying? Oh My God Yuji!" The lady wiped his tears.

"Whaaaat? Yuji's crying? Never saw that happening before, he never cried like in ages." The man said.

"Aww, JiJi...Sniff* Sniff*" Little Yumi starts to cry too.

The lady hugged him while Yuji burst out of tears.

[So this is it, this is how you feel when someone cates about you. This feeling, these words and their existence...It feels...so Overwhelming!].

"I missed you guys too!" Yuji said.

"We missed you too." The lady said.

"Waaaahh! JiJii! I...sob*...missed you sniff* too! Cough* Cough*" little Yumi cried while running towards Yuji and hugged him.

"Wow! There There Yumi, no need to cry now your brother is home now, and we all know you missed him a lot more than we did, hehe." The man said while patting her back.

Hearing all these noises from outside Uriel cane out of the house with a lantern. "What's up with all that crying is that Yumi? Gasp* YUJI?!” She rushed towards her children.

"Oh my gosh! Yuji! Where have you been? I was so worried thay I haven't seen your face since yesterday!" She sees little Yumi's so hardly, "Oh My My! Little Yumi don't cry baby, Your brother is home now, Okay?" As she puts the lantern down and hugs all her children. "Now, Let's go inside and give your brother a Welcome home, I have made dinner, Okay!" Her smile is as kind as she speaks.

"Yeah! Let's eat!" The man said with excitement.

"Don't be in so much hurry Yuro! First, Bathe." Mother said, "Everybody bathe first then only I'll let you sit on the dining table."

"Okay! Mother! Let's go Yumi." Yuro said.

"Noo...Sniff* I'll bath with Brother JiJi today..." Little Yumi said.

"Hmm...Well how about, We all take a bath togather?".

"Yeah! Sure!" little Yumi agrees.

"Okay then! Mom we all bath togather today so, Yumi and I will prepare towels and clothes!"

"Mmh!✿"

"Make sure not to slip!"

[So she is my mother, She so caring and full of energy, I should apologise for making her worry, Since everyone kept mentioning it.]

"Mom..." Yuji spoke.

"Hmm?"

"I...I am sorry."

"Huh? For what?"

"F-for... Making you worried-"

"There's no need, I am your mother, it is my job to worry about my children but the important thing is that You are safe." As she hugs him. "And I believe where ever you will be You'll be just fine, Right? My little Yuji." She pinched his cheeks, it made Yuji cry again but he held his tears back and said, "Y-yes, Mother."

"Chuckles* Now go, join the bath or there will be no soap left for you."

"Yes!" Yuji noded, Then he went inside. Uriel turns and looks at Yurie.

"Oh Yurie! I am Glad you're safe too. " She hugs her, "Thankyou, for bringing him back. Your father had made his decision, You may go to the city next month." she smiled, hearing this made Yurie fill with joy.

"Thankyou Mother!" She hugs and goes inside the house.

While everyone was taking bath,

Yurie calls out for Yuji and says, "Hey Yuji, let me comb your hair, You take a look at them, so dirty, I bet You didn't wash it for days."

"Huh! Why is that?" he made a face.

"Don't argue and come here!" She said while looking for the comb.

"Uhhh, But I don't want to..." Yuji says while sinking in the water.

"You don't wanna? Your fault then don't come looking for me crying, Hmph!" She goes out while taking the clothes for the laundry.

"What is she talking about?" He ignored it and continued bathing .

After bathing, as Yuji walks out of the bathroom, Yuro and Yumi rushes out and goes to the kitchen, "THE ONE WHO GETS FIRST, GETS THE MOST!" Yuro said.

"Woow, MARCH!" Little Yumi said.

"Hey! Watch out!" Yuji startled.

"He he, JiJi hurry or we'll eat you favourites!" She laughed.

"Oh no You don't." Yuji starts running.

They reached the kitchen catching their breathes, Yuji noticed something in the kitchen, he saw Mother was holding a child, it looked more younger than little Yumi maybe it was another sibling.

Yuji sat on the dining table, the baby was looking at him, but Yuji didn't notice. They ate dinner, then went back to their rooms, [I wonder what my room looks like.], He went to the second floor, he saw a room, he went inside and saw, the room had nothing but a bed and a pair of table and chair and a big window from which the moonlight poured through, it was the only source of light. Yuji lays down on the bed , he sees the stars,

[Is this a dream? Will this all end if I sleep? But the stars look so real, and the people here too, they're so kind, happy and caring, will this all just end someday? Sighs* so many Questions.]. He closes his eyes and sleeps for now.
