MANGATOON STARS: AN AWARD SHOW (FAQ SESSION)

"Have you written a novel or chat story. Is it good?"

Our award show is split into three rounds and two categories.

We have Star Novels and Star Chat Stories.

After you submit your contribution:

• Round 1

- Submissions from users are shortlisted. Getting your submission to the shortlist is the very first step.

• Round 2: The Popular Vote

- Shortlisted submissions are then voted for by the fans (this has no effect on the winners of Round 3: The Finals). The winners of Round 2 will get a place in our Hall Of Fame.

• Round 3: The Finals

- Shortlisted submissions will be appraised by our team of judges and we will decide the winners. We have five judges and a range of awards.

FAQ: How do I submit work?

We will post forms for you to be able to fill in to submit your works to the competition each time that the competition is restarting. This will usually be in the form of a comment underneath a chapter.

FAQ: What is the judgement process?

We will read through the first 10 chapters of every submission and judge the story so far based on the following:

Characterisation, description, grammar and capability of audience captivity. We strongly advise you not to submit what many would call "a generic story".

Depending on the number of submissions each time, a shortlist will be formed. We will communicate the details about it after each run through as this may vary. We operate on a blind reading process: your number of followers is not taken into account.

To differentiate further, we read 10 more chapters of each shortlisted story and mark it against our criteria and then make the final rankings.

2) A like on 20 chapters of the selected work.

3) 10 comments on the selected work.

4) Permanent promotion of the selected work on our platform after the final awards by use of a short story synopsis.

5) A four star rating from MT Collective on the selected work.

-1ST PLACE NOVEL & CHAT STORY-

1) One 'MangaToon Stars: Winner' Cover Design provided by our design team at MT Collective, tailored to your desires.

2) A like on 30 chapters of the selected work.

3) 20 comments from the MT Collective main account.

4) A whole chapter dedicated to your work in the Hall Of Fame which will include a full synopsis and author credit.

5) A permanent follow from the MT Collective main account.

6) An interview to be held at a time of your choice after the awards show which will be posted on your chapter in The Hall Of Fame.

7) Permanent promotion of the selected work on our platform.

8) A 5 star rating from MT Collective on the selected work.

FAQ: Can I submit more than one contribution of my own?

Yes but MT Collective will only allow one contribution by you to make the shortlist even if two contributions are eligible to win.

FAQ: Can I vote for myself in the popularity round?

No. Doing so will disqualify you immediately.
