Jungkook laid down numb and unmoving on his bed. He looked at the dark ceiling above him. Soft music playing through the earbuds which were connected to his phone laid beside him.

He let out a deep sigh as he imagined blood seeping out of a wound and pills spread out on a dirty and damp bathroom floor.

He rasied the volume of his music, a way of him trying to drown out his toxic thoughts.

Pain. That's all he wanted. Be it from himself or someone else. He liked it when he suffered and hated when it affected him so much. All he wanted was to live a normal life without having to think like this every night.

A bright smile and lively mood through the morning before he fell into the clutches of his own demons in the night. The vulnerbility and weakness of himself spreading through his body like a burn.

He felt his brain scream bloody murder from within in need of an escape. An escape from all these thoughts and battles fought.

He wasn't happy nor was he sad. He just liked pain from within himself. He hated that he did.

He liked hurting his mind. He liked fighting fire with fire. The darkness consuming him and numbing him.

The music rolled through the back of his mind as he thought of hurting someone. A tear slipped through his eye.

He didn't want to hurt anyone.

He just wanted to be happy.

He was hurting himself through the process. He was constantly fighting with himself. He wanted to call quits. He felt like a monster. A demon who acted on impulse of sadistic emotions. He hated it.

He hated these feelings so much. He despied it and himself.

He was exhausted.

So very exhausted.

"Jungkook?" A faint voice called from outside and Jungkook was surprised he could hear it though his loud music pounding his eardrums.

He let out a light groan, "Can I come in?" The voice asked again and Jungkook just kept quiet.

The voice sighed and he heard the door open. The owner of the voice looking at him in worry and concern. Jungkook smiled lightly at him and the other did the same.

"Jimin." The said person nodded as he closed the door. Jimin laid next to Jungkook and pulled out the earbuds from his ears.

"You aren't going to hurt anyone Kookie. No one." Jimin whispered as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled as he pulled Jimin closer. He held him to his chest and played with the back of his hair.

"I'm scared I might hurt you..." Jungkook whispered out and Jimin smiled, "I wouldn't care. I love you. These nights will pass. You aren't a monster."

Jungkook nodded softly as Jimin drew constellation patterns on his back.

"I love you too."
