When he turned to face his mother, she was grinning at him and rushing over
and hugged him tenderly. As Ruqayyah hugged her beloved son, she experienced a wave of relief. She hadn't seen him for a day at this point.
Enviously, Busayna watched as Sheikh Ali embraced his mother. She had lost her mother at an early age, so she had never experienced the warmth of a mother's love. But as she observed the contented family in front of her, she was overcome with gratitude for their generosity. She would always be grateful to Sheikh Ali and his family for saving her life.
She overheard Ruqayah telling her son Ali, "Ya bunaiya (O my son), you don't know how happy I am to see you well, by the grace of Allah," and she took a glance at Busayna and said again "When Busayna told me about the event of the tribe al Firuz men being rude to her and how you saved her from death"
Sheikh Ali smiled at his mother's words and nodded before respectfully informing his family, "I will be there after finishing my ablution, so if there is anything for dinner, serve it on the table. I will be going to the mosque for the night prayer." After giving Busayna one last look,He turned to face his older brother Hamzah, who was quietly watching everything as he went to conduct the ablution, and he looked back at his elder brother, whom he most respected.
Ali welcomed him and said, "Come perform the ablution with me and then let's head for prayer after dinner." Hamza nodded before following his brother's footsteps. In order to prepare dinner for her kid, Ruqayah headed to the kitchen.
Amira soon returned with water, which she gave to Busayna.
Amira offered Busayna some water, which she joyfully accepted and drank deeply. She felt refreshed and her thirst was satisfied by the cool liquid. She couldn't help but be thankful for such generosity as she drank.
Busayna was aware that she would always remember this wonderful gesture and would make every effort to make up for it in the future. She handed Amira the water after she was done with it, and she left with the silver water mug.
Ali's grandmother Maryam looked away from the string of beads she was using for zikr (remembrance of Allah) and gently said, "You must be very tired, ya Azizi (my dear), I will call Amira to take you to her room where you can freshen up and change into Amira's dress for now later we can buy few clothes for you, ok?" Busayna shook his head in agreement and added, "Sure, thank you so much for your kindness, madam."
Maryam shook her head and said, "Oh please, im no madam for you to call me just jadti," after laughing at her formality. Busayna gave her a friendly grin.
Busayna couldn't help but be warmly drawn to Maryam.
The courtesy of being called "jadti" was appreciated. Then she heard her grandmother calling Amira, and she quickly responded to her grandmother's call.
Maryam instructed Amira's grandma to take Busayna to her room so that she could freshen up and bring her some food as Amira walked up to her.
Amira took Busayna to her room after giving a nod. Amira whispered, "Busayna," softly while they were walking. When Busayna heard her name and Amira recommenced speaking, she turned her face toward Amira.
She then gave Busayna a huge smile and said, "I know you are hurting inside, and no one can understand it unless they have been through this, so let me tell you this: you are not alone, we are here to help, and let's be friends from now on." Busayna nodded and smiled back, concealing her sadness and mourning for her family.
Amira led Busayna to her room after showing her where everything was before letting her rest.
